Traci, Hi looks like you have done great, and you sure don't want to go back to the fat person we have all been, you have come too far and been through too much, you gave yourself the answer in your post go back to what you know you are supposed to eat, maybe you should plan and allow yourself a treat once or twice a month only, put your before picts on the fridge, even those who have never been heavy don't overindulge often,do this for your own mental and physical health, I think you are still in the (window of oportunity) they talk about so, get with it! you know what to do,signed MOM LOL, Seriously, do what you know, excersize, water, protein DO I HAVE TO COME OVER THERE!!! take care Marcia

Susan, I just had to let you know that my prayers are with you and your baby girl. I understand quite well what you are going through. My 3 year old daughter, Sophie, was born with spina bifida, although a more mild case (she is not paralyzed), she has already had surgery on her spine and may face several other surgeries. It is agonizing. There is no worry like the worry a parent has for her child. All I can say is that my faith brought me through it, and continues to sustain me. And to think the Lord thought enough of me to give me such a special child. I didn't see in myself what He saw in me. Please keep us updated and know that there are people praying your family through this time. Love, Stacey

Donna. I am going through the exact same thing!!! I recently joined a gym thinking I needed to up my exercise routine. It is so frustrating!!!!! I have talked to both my nurse and surgeon and they say that this is very common, but it is scary to me!!! I don't want to start gaining my weight back. I worked too hard to get rid of 102 pounds!!! I try to really push the water too..... Teri

Nat, Congratulations on your new tummy. It looks like it's going to be great when the swelling goes down. I have a friend who went through the same frustration waiting for the end result as well. It took a few months before the swelling was completely gone, so keep the faith and try not to get too discouraged. I have a feeling you will more than satisfied when all is said and done. You should be proud of yourself with your success all around. You've done a great job. Maggie

Graphic photo's beware now I am to see tt pics to compare with others whom had rolls bad like mines on the sides Hello FAM, I am sorry it took me sooo long but I am finally able to get online now. So here is the 411 on my TT!!! I am excited it's over and can't wait to see the final results. I want to stress that the first sight of your TT is not the most pleasent. I was expecting to see this beautiful flat tummy. Well this was not the case. My surgeon is the best. I was approved for a pentilectomy only but she did the whole abdominalplasty with muscle tightening. The bikini cut is flawless. My first look at the tummy I thought oh my it's not tight enough, it's not flat enough. The stretch marks are still there. Yuck Yuck Yuck... But to be honest we are not in hollywood. We see the real results. My tummy has swollen more so since being in the hospital and I have to realize that is' going to take a while to see the end results. I still have rolls on the side cuz I did not get the breast done and the tuck could not remove them. Pain Management........... My Doc had a great method of pain management. She used a pain pump called ON-Q (post-op pain reliefe info at askyoursurgeon.com) this is a small cathader that goes right in your tummy and stays in for 72 hours. You remove it yourself. It was easy to remove on Sunday and I felt nothing. You will see it in the pics it's taped to me just above the belly button and I carried it in a black bag over my shoulder. I also was on oral pills as well for pain and muscle relaxers. My tubes I hope will be out by this monday the 20th but there is no discomfort just annoying. I have alot of swelling and my hubby keeps telling me to be patient but you know like the shows I want to see a flat tummy. It's still real swollan but she assures me it will be flat and it can take up to 6 months to see the final results. She also said if there is any skin hanging at all she will remove in the office under a general anisthetic no charge to me. She will peirce my belly then also. The cut you can see in the pics is under this brown tape. It's on very tight and she prefers it cuz it keeps the scar flat and minimal scarring. My scar does look great and I agree with her on the tape. It will fall off on it's own dont pull it and I can shower no problem. I know I said it B4 but other peoples TT looks so good after the TT. There bellies are flat and no rolls on the sides. I know I didn't get the breats done but I can't help but be disappointed. I thought it would be flat already. Why the buldge still..!!!! Okay just had to vent Okay enought talking ask what you want and here is the link to the pics (www) picturetrail.com/natttpics Love Ya'll NAT PS I want to send special love to my Angel Kerstin whom is always there for me. She kept checking on me and I just love her for that. Also thanks for letting me use your camera that things takes great pics. So thanks to Kertin I got pics online!!!
