Thanks anne, It is definately painful, but is worth it! I am so jelous of those people who don't need to go through as much, but I guess I wasn't blessed. I am glad I went through it though. Have a wonderful holiday season! Tricia

Thanks! My weight was pretty evenly distributed, I always was...just fat everywhere. My stomach and hips and back all were bad, that's why I had the belt lipectomy, so that it went all the way around, and even lift up the outer thighs. My arms were horrible, and they look better every day. the pain is bad, I'm not going to lie, but it is all worth it...in a few months, I'll look great, and hopefully feel it too! Tricia

GOD IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD TO ME! I just found out that I WILL be having my TT. The office manager called and has said they will be billing BCBS FIRST and then after it's determined what my out of pocket is they will be billing me the remainder. I'm seriously jumping out of my skin! (Luckily I won't have too much skin left to jump out of soon!!!) Thank you all for your many prayers and blessings! I know I've whined a lot on here and I can't say thank you enough to be such a good support system to me! Now the nerve**** that I'm having another surgery!

Hi Tricia, Glad to see you are back and doing fine. Thanks for posting your pictures, it looks like it was/is very painful. But, the difference is amazing, and makes it look worth the pain. Take care Anne

Hey, I was wondering if you were ok, I was starting to worry! You sure are a brave one!! Good for you, you are gonna look great, you already do!! Can I ask?, Where did you carry your weight before? I had a consult, and ps says I need an extended pannelectomy(SP) . My weight was and still is, all in my upper body. My hips are smaller than my waist, I have a huge roll above my waist. I just wonder if that will take care of my problem. any ways... I am glad to hear that you have come through so well!! Take care!! Michele

As I posted in the plastic surgery forum, I am back from all my surgeries. It's been 2 weeks now, and I am still in pain, and so tired. I just wanted everyone to know that my surgeries went well. This is what I underwent: Breast reduction/lift; excess skin removal from under arm by side of breasts, brachioplasty, hernia repair, anchor incision tummy tuck, LBL (belt lipectomy), medial thigh lift, and lipo to knees. It was alot to do at once, but I am really glad that I did it. If you want to read about my experience, please check my profile. I am still updating it, but you can get the idea. I have some before pics and some pics from 9 days post-op. you can view them at: http://www.shutterfly.com/view/pictures.jsp If they ask for an email, it's [email protected] and the password is: ps1105 I went into surgery weighing 132 lbs and I am currently @ 119 lbs. It's weird, I keep hearing from all the nurses and staff how tiny I am, I never expected to be tiny. Thanks for listening. Tricia

Topic: TT approval - but not able to have it....
I wanted to let everyone know I got my approval on the PS for the TT - but I don't have the money to meet the 20% that I have to pay out of my pocket so I am not able to have my Tummy Tuck at this time. I guess I'm going to have to save some money up and try again next year. My current insuance is ending at the end of the year (BCBS/PPO) and we are getting Aetna PPO in it's place. I've gotten mixed answers as to wether or not Aetna will approve the PS -but I'm going to give it the old college try and see if it will happen. Oh well....I guess it wasn't meant to happen right now for me. (If any of you have some strings to pull at my Dr's office and can convince them to let me make payemnts I can have it all paid off by the end of January...) I also know with my credit (and just trust me on this) I can't get financing ANYwhere. Some have suggested that I pull it out of my 401 K but I'm only just now eligible for it at my job (you have to be there MORE than 2 years to have it available to you and while I will be there 3 years in Feb..I wasn't 2 years on Jan 1 last year.........UGH). Right now I'm beliving that if it's meant to happen the good Lord will provide a way for me to have it happen. I'm not going to let this stop me - even if I have to start over next year with the new insurance. Who knows - the new insurance may cover more than what I have now! Anyway - thought I'd share my good/not so good news! Maybe some prayers will help?!? Dee Dee
