Hi Laura, Congrats on your amazing success. Please Please Don't feel inferior and try not to focus on the size issue, you have done great! We are all so different: heights, body shape, different starting weights, etc. so many things can account for the discrepancies in "size". We each have our own journey and will get where we need to be at the right time! Wishing you continued success! Pam RNY 5/13/04 268/168/153 15 lbs under goal

Sounds like you are doing FANTASTIC!!! 122 pounds! WOW! I started smaller than you, and you cannot compaire because everybody is different. I started at 247 lbs (give or take) and I was in a size 22-24 mostly 24's. I think I am hour glass shaped, so I see alot of people about my size that are in 8's but I am no where near it yet. I am currently 151 pounds and I wear size 12-14 depending. I am also 5'2 1/2 and that is something that a lot of people don't say. Height has alot to do with it too. I think you are doing GREAT, so just keep up the good work, and the sizes will shrink soon. Tricia

I am starting to feel like I must be the biggest one on this board! Everyone talks about being in 6's and 8's and 10's and I am still wearing 18's. I've lost 122 pounds and I think I am doing just fine, but after reading so many of your posts, I am feeling rather HUGE! Am I the only one who is still wearing such big sizes? I have an hourglass figure, always have, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Or did I just start out weighing more than most on here? I'm not complaining about the weight I have lost, I'm just feeling really inferior about where I am at now!! Someone please tell me I am doing okay!

Hi Susan, I went through a similar bout a few months ago. It went away on it's own, but I didn't lose that much weight. I would contact your doctor and/or surgeon right away and at least ask them what they think. Make sure you are replacing all of the lost fluids so that you don't get dehydrated. Let us know what you find out!! Take care!

Pam, congrats on your loss. A good source of protein and good fat would be a handful of nuts. Those little babies pack quite a few calories for a handful. Also, you could drink some exta calories. Perhaps a protein shake that has some carbs in it. Peanut butter has a whopping 190 calories for only 2 TBSP. That wouldn't take up alot of room in the pouch. Best wishes to maintain. I'm holding steady at 151, but I'm 5'6" and I'de like to see 140,so for now I will avoid the above pointers for you. Mngal 254/151/? goal being determined today at my underwater weighing

HI Susan, Congrats on the WL, however..... I'd contact your Doc right away. Under the best of cir****tances 9 days of diahrea is not a good thing. For us, it could be worse, you can become dehydrated so easily. I would definintely call to make sure they don't want to see you to check things out! Wising you continuted success & the best of luck! HI Geriann, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have contacted by Drs office a while back when first went below goal & it worked....while not exercising. So I guess a little "force feeding" will be required!. Congrats of your success! Wishing you continued success. Pam

Hi Nat, Thanks for replying. You are doing so great, I've watched your postings for quite some time and you are really inspirational. Congrats on your success. Those are the things I have been adding.... even pasta, but only at a meal & just a very small amt. Like you problem is the total Calorie intake for the day because I can only eat small amounts at each "feeding" so in trying to UP it for the day, I feel like a grazing "calf".....as opposed to being a grazing "cow" like the old days! It's a catch22 situation, but I know I'll get the hang of it. Have a wonderful week, Pam

Hi Su, Thanks for responding. Yes, I always have used Protein as my first source, biggest problem is that the Quantity I can eat is so small that I still don't get alot of calories unless supplementing all day long. It's kinda of a catch22 situation. Thanks! Pam
