Protein has been easy for me. When I have been working out and exercising I find that if I drink a protein shake afterwards I can actually feel the effects. It might be all in my head but I still feel better.
As to perogies, they are sort of like a ravioli. Pockets of dough stuffed with Cheese and Potato, or Potato and Sauerkraut, Just Sauerkraut, or Onion and Potato. Groing up many of the eastern ethic churches (Pollish, Ukrainiane, Slovak) sold them at Easter time, when you're not supposed to eat meat on Fridays in order to raise money. A total comfort food for me.
My wife found frozen low-fat perogies in the freezer section of our store. We tried baking them and they were great. Other ways to make them, boil them and the cover them in sauted onions, or deep fry them. But that sort of defeats the purpose of the low-fat ones. Nutritionally, they have too many carbs but fairly low in calories and so-so on protein. Not a great choice but not a terrible one either.

Aww hun I am sure you are not the only one. I am glad you are seeing a councelor and therapist. They can help so much. I hope everything gets under control, and you can find the underlying reason you are feeling this way. The brain is a complex thing, and it can be anything from hormones, chemical imbalance to things that are just in your everyday life. Best wishes for you sweetie- Melissa

Wow JOhn it looks like you are doing great with protein!! Keep up the good work. I have never had a perogie, what is it? Maybe it is best I havent heard or tried them, since you seem happy they are out of the house now, lol- Melissa

I am so excited for you. I can't wait until it is my turn. I am probably thinking to do it around the end of August. Keep us updated with what is going on so we will know what to expect when it is our turn.

I have never had one of those subway wraps, I will have to try one, I heat the are yummy! I know I have to up my calcium, my Dr might put me on calcuim citrate when I go see him. I do ok with dairy, however with milk it tends to make my tummy upset. Thank you sweetie, and dont feel pressured into posting everyday. I have to, because if I dont I will be back to not posting and probably not eat so well. Take care and I know you will get that protein in today, lol- Melissa

Awww sweetie!! Good to see you! Congrats on breaking that horrible 200lb mark, it is such a mile marker for all of us! Glad to see you back, hope you had a great Easter!! You all have a part in this child, lol. YOu have been great friends through this journey and a great help to me- Melissa

B - Protein drink with carb countdown milk - 30 grams protein
S - 1/2 light yogurt - 3 grams protein
L - 2 oz filet mignon (YUMM) and 2 oz baked sweet potatoe
D - making a meatloaf and tomatoe and cumcumber salad, will probably eat about 2 oz of meatloaf.
I did horrible yesterday, I munched all evening on peanuts that were candy coated with sugar and stuff. I feel horrible and today I am going to do great! No grazing or extra snacking. I will be drinking 70 oz of Ice tea, sweetend with a little splenda. I don't like it sweet.
