Topic: RE: anyone Not lost 100 yet?
Hi Amanda, Don't feel bad. I have been on a two month plateau and stayed at around -96 pounds. The scales are finally moving and now I am at -99. One more measely little pound. But I am happy!!!! I was in a very tight 22-24 pants and 3X top to begin with--I am now in size 12 and some are getting loose. I want to lose 21 more pounds but people say that I will blow away and look unhealthy if I lose anymore. They look at me and say "Where is it going to come from?" LOL!!! Take care--Sandra

Perry , It sounds like to me a combo of things . You could have pulled something in your incision area . I did this at the gym and the pain sounds the same . And as to the bread .. If I even remotely try bread I swell up like a hot air balloon .So I stay away from it . Rest tonight and see how you feel tommorow . If no better .. get to the doc . Take care , Natalie

Topic: RE: Tummy Tuck question
Melanie I dont think I am going to be much help. What I do know, is not many insurances do cover it, people end up paying for it some how, home equity loans, I dont know. I do know that the ones I have heard of paying for it have strict guidelines that you have to fall under or they will not pay either. They look for a rash, and how big the apron is. I know it has to be a substantial amount of apron hanging. I am hoping when my time to look into a tummy tuck after this baby comes, that I will fall under the criteria, and that my ins will pay. I would call your insurance and see if they have ever paid for one, and what were the conditions that made it covered. Sorry I am not much of a help on this issue, and I wish you the best in getting it covered. I really need on too, and can only pray I will be able to get it next year.- Melissa

Topic: Your thoughts?
Reposting from the main board... Hey all, Okay, I've read through the library on this and didn't find much. For the last 24 hours I've had a strong dull pain in my left side, a couple of inches down from my ribs about about 4in left of my bellybutton. It feels like someone punched me, hard, in the side of my gut. I did several things yesterday that may (or may not) have led to several different issues. First, I took a fall while walking, tripping over a wire and doing a belly flop into the gravel (it was lovely, lol) I jumped right back up and brushed myself off and seemed fine. Secondly, I was given a new pair of jeans that fit, but just barely, and wore them all day yesterday. They cut in pretty tight as I sat at my desk all day. Finally, I was stupid and kinda went wild at a wedding rehearsal dinner last night, several slices of bread and some pasta (no sweets or grease though). The pain was a dull ache from noon on and by the time I went to bed my stomach was bloated and it was painful to roll over, like a has a belly full of gas. Hurts in that spot when I cough. No sleep for me. Felt a little btter this morning but comes back each time I eat. Seems like my options are...nothing, ulcer, pulled muscle, staple line disruption, or gas. Anyone have any insights on this, or what I might do about it? I have a busy weekend and will drop everything for a trip to the doc if I really have to, but would rather not. Thanks everyone, -Perry 376/335/212/185 123 Pounds Gone! "There's just one rule with no exception. Before victory comes temptation.
