Well , Ive cut my hair and I am blonde .. I am getting ready to go into a size 6 . Life is great .. no it is AWESOME ! To see the pics - go to my picturetrial at the begining of my profile . Then at the bottom is my new after pic .. I cannot say enough about how this surgery has made my life .. so sweet and longer ... yea the size is great .. I feel great .. but the best thing is I have my life back.. and may now live longer .. thank you God ! Huggles , Natalie

Melanie, I for one and traveling to Brazil to have my plastics done. this is VERY commen with WLS patient's. I have been researching this paticular surgeon for atleast 9 months now, and after having spoken with SEVERAL of his client's...feel VERY comfortable going there now. I will give you his name if you think this might be an option for you. Brenda

Is everyone failing to post their daily eating?? The two that normally write this type of post hasn't done it for a few days. This is the only way I keep straight. At least sort of straight. LOL Anyway, I am going to post my food for the day. It really does help me out. B 1 cup of Go Lean Cereal L 1 beef pattie and 3 tablespoons of green beans S 1 1\2 small banana D 4 oz pork chop and 1\2 oz mushrooms. A bit of carrot, bit of mashed taters. I need more protein so maybe later I will have either a cc smoothie, beef jerky, or 1 cup of cc chocolate milk. Will have vitties later, will drink the rest of my water for tonight and going on my nightly 1 to 2 mile walk. Depends on Buggie on how long we walk. Toni

Hello fellow may babies. How is everyone? I am still around, thinking of you all, just haven't gotten around to posting in quite awhile. Been struggling with some personal issues, which hasn't been to fun. I am not sure where I am going at this point, but when I get there I'll let you all no how it is. hahahahaha...Sorry, a little twisted humer. But at this point i need to laugh. I am at goal...size 4...maybe even a little under goal, but with stress it is sooooo hard to eat, or even remember to eat. Take care everyone and no I think of you all. Brenda

There are so many of us that know exactly where you are coming from! I had my surgery on 5/3/2004. I had a BMI of 48 when I had surgery. It is now in the high 20s. I was losing weight at an awesome rate, with NO exercise, I must ashamedly admit. Well then my father passed in December and I didn't eat for 4 days. I had been plateaued for over 3 months. So I went back to the basics. I already drink a ton of water, but I bought a 64oz container to take to work to drink water. I keep that on my desk, no snacks! Also went back to doing a protein drink with my vitamins every morning. I finally even got myself motivated to exercise. My husband has an XBox at home, and they have a fitness game called YourselfFitness. It's like having your own little personal trainer right at home. You put in your stats and your goals, and if you have fitness equipment at home, like hand weights or one of those fitness balls, you can put it in and she will incorporate it into the workout. It also has many concentrations to choose from, including upper body strength,lower body strength, core strength, flexibility, cardio, and weight loss. This has solved my problem, I mean, what excuse do I have when she is right there to help me work out whenever I can fit it in? She keeps track of your workouts and goals, and as you advance, you are rewarded just like any other video game, you 'unlock' new spas and stuff like that. It also has Yoga and Pilates. It has been helpful for me to have it. I like it especially because it is like having a workout video, but even better but because no 2 workouts are ever the same, so you don't get bored easily. And finally I have a 1 in front of my weight number! Hope it all helps. Don't give up!!!!!!!!! Valena -132

Another bad day. We went grocery shopping today and spent WAY to much money. At least I won't have to go for at least a month or two. LOL Okay, Today I had B skipped. Stayed up to late with hubby playing Sonic on the playstation. L 1\2 hamburger and 5 fries S 1 small banana D we took buggie to the park, so we grilled out. I ate 1\2 of a hot dog and 1 small hamburger S will be cc smoothie. Need to get the protein up. And I might have a glass of cc chocolate milk to add more protein. Buggie is on spring break this week so we have planned many days at the park with picnics. And of course playing on the play ground. LOL Can you see a 31 year old lady playing on the play ground? LOL

Hi there! I'm having a bad day so I figured if I could put it in words and see it on paper I would be more forceful to make sure I get in my nutrients! I am not sure but the past 2 days I have not been hungry at all! Yesterday at 12 noon I ate tuna / mayo on top of lettuce with shredded cheese on top and 3 crackers. I had to make my self eat it. then last night at 6 I ate chicken parmigiana. took 4 bites and couldn't eat it. I did fine drinking yesterday unlike today! so for today here it is 1 O'Clock 1/3 pc of a chicken breast. And thats it! here it is 7 O'Clock and I really just don't want to eat. Maybe its the change in the weather?? Hubby and I just got back from walking the track at the high school and my adrenaline is up so high and i feel awesome! I honestly believe i could go all day and not eat anything! This has got to stop My body needs its protein. If I don't have my appetite back by tomorrow I am going to call the Dr. I hope this is just a phase like i had when i first had the surgery. thanks for giving me an open door to vent! Ok, May Babes...you all are giving me a huge complex!! Am I the only one who does not have a life on weekends??? B = 2 TOAST/COFFEE L = SWISS STEAK/LITTLE MASHED POTATOES/ONION RINGS S = BOLOGNA SANDWICH LOTS OF WATER SOME SUGAR FREE CANDY I THINK THAT'S IT. JEANNIE NO EXERCISE SO FAR...MAYBE THE GAZELLE LATER!!
