What and where are these little Myoplex drinks? How much protein is in one serving, and are they tasty or one you just manage getting down? Have a great lunch!!! It is neat meeting people we have talked to on here and gone through so much together.- Melissa

Thanks Nat.....I needed that. Tax season has defiantely taken a toll on me and now it's back to work on my weight loss. I have been stalled since the first of Dec. and well......It's time to move on. I have lost 145(and very happy and thankful about that) and have 70 more to go. I will make it. I have never wanted anything more (well except having my girl and they told my chances of giving birth was 1 in a million.) Anyways I must confess I am guilty of grabbing chips or whatever to just get through the day. I can eat anything...not sure that is good. I have never thrown up and not sure that is good either. But tax season is now over, and I have started my aquatic aerobics class and have increased my water to 100+ and upped the protein. I am getting back on track. My anniversary is May 4th. I hope I getting moving again before then. Thanks so much for all your posts and insight. You have been such a role model for me. I appreciate all you dedication and spirit. You are a true success story and I wanna be just like you....lol Take care and Thanks again. Love ya, April

Great Post Natalie!!! We all need a boost now and then...espeicially now!! I know exactly what you are talking about. As soon as I started walking again, the pounds are slowly coming off again. I am watching what I am eating...and not eating things that I did before. I am not perfect. There is still a donut here and there, fries every once in a while...but, not every day, and not even every week. Thanks!!! Jeannie

Hi ME TOO!!!! Hey, I know how you feel. My surgery was May 4, 2004. I was down 145 pounds at Thanksgiving and since then I have be bouncing back and forth from 243 to 246. IT IS SOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!! I would like to lose about 70-75 more also. You are obviously not along looking at all these post I guess it is very common. I have been concerned that it's over and well....I am not done yet!! I have increased my water from 80 up to 100-120 ounces a day and have increased my protein too. I also started aquatic aerobics last week. I do walk at least 3 days a week sometime 1 mile sometimes 2 depending on what time I get to work. Thank God tax season ( I do taxes) is over and maybe I will have more time now to exercise. I am deteremined to get under 200 and out of size 20. I want no 2's!!!! I wish you luck. If you find something that is working to break this plateau please post it. A lot of us could use it. Take care and keep up the good work. WE WILL MAKE IT!!!! Hugs, April 388/243(today)/looking for 170

Ok ... everyone stop stressing about your weightloss . For the past couple weeks I have been reading a lot of post where a lot of you are stressing over not hitting your goal at your year out . First you need to give your self credit for the loss you do have . Second .. did you know that the process can take up to 18 months for you to acheive your goal weight . Yes it gets harder but you have to stay on the plan and work your tool . I see so many coming here posting what they eat .. and I do not mean to sound harsh but come on .. if your eating chips - or your eating bad food choices and sitting on your tushies .. guess what .. the weight loss will slow down or worse stop . Maybe you need to step back and really - and I mean really look at what you are eating . Look at what you are doing for activity . If you do not move you will not loose . You could also pay a visit to your doctor or a nutricionist . But you got to stay on track .. you got to stick to the basic plan . Protein ..First .. Veggies - then a Carb . Make everthing you put into your mouth count .. I know it is hard .. I really do .. Not a day goes by that I do not want to sink my teeth into Donut - or cookie - or veg out in front of the TV with a bag o chips . What keeps me from doing it is I know now this is what got me to obesity .. and by God I am not going back .. no way no how . When you feel the urge to graze .. get a big drink of something good . Fix a bag of FF popcorn .. Yes Popcorn . It is low in Carbs believe it or not and not bad for ya .. ( given your doc approves ) Eat a good protein bar . Cut it up in pieces and snack on it all day .. There are great alternitives for WLS patents now .. we are not doomed to eating mush and protein drinks . Find a choice that is going to be worthy of you .. worthy of the pouch . I am sorry for the ranting .. but I care about you all .. and Succes is something you will have .. but you must work at it .. This surgery will not work alone .. you have to be willing to meet it .. not half way .. ALL THE WAY .. Love ya , Natalie
