Thought this would be interesting to find out how close others are to their doctors goal and personal goal!
I am 40 pounds from Dr's goal of 200lbs
65 lbs from my personal goal of 175.
Total loss of 183 so far at 11 1/2 months out

B - forgot shake so nothing so far
S - Protein bar
L - Soup and yogurt
S - Protein bar
D - Steak and veggies!! yum yum
water, vitamins and maybe some outside play time with the little one if it doesn't rain..hope you all have a great weekend and i will try to check in if i can.....love you may babies!!!

I hated going shopping, getting dressed, myself!!!
Now, I love going shopping...I love getting my clothes ready to wear...and I love myself.
People have commented on how "happy" I seem to be now. I have a bounce in my step...and I just seem to love life.
It has made a world of difference in my life!
Also, the breathing...everyone was so worried about my breathing. Now, it is fine. Also, my "red" face. Always was red...no more!!!
I love life!!!!

YES!!!! I upped my protein...beneprotein...and started walking...watching more what I ate...lost 8 pounds in three weeks. It does work!!
Go figure...just what the doctor told me...maybe I should listen more, huh?

Well today I exercised!!!!!!!!!!!! I went swimming and did about 1 hour of water aerobics, then some laying on the raft till the thunderstorm hit. Ill blame that on Tonya, lol. Ok for my food.
B- protein drink
L- 1 cup spaghetti with sauce
S- detour protein bar
D- 1 small baked potato skin and all with shredded cheese
I am going to have a protein drink later tonight also.
Had 2 glasses of milk, and 36ounces of water, I still have a way to go on that.

Sorry sweetie, I have never heard of this. As far as for me, pills never worked before surgery, so I wouldnt even try them now. You had your surgery a day after me, and I am seeing alot of may babies are slowing down to a crawl, or looks like they havent lost anything in months. This is normal, and I beleive if you up your protein, water, and exercise, it will eventually come off. It isnt going to take a while and some hard work hun but it will come. We still have a good 6 months of losing ahead of us. I know I will not be losing anything in that time due to the baby, and I can only hope that I bust my butt enough afterwards to lose some more. I am still 40-45lbs away from my goal. Keep up the good work sweetie, and if you can stay away from the pills. It is your choice. - Melissa

I can't believe your doc told you that. My loss has been slow lately but I figure the slower it is the easier it is to keep off. I am just uping the protien and exercise which is a healthier alternative to pills.
