Congrats on your date. I can't image you looking any better. You are beautiful girlie. I know you must be excited. I had my 1 yr. checkup and doc says I need to wait 1 more year to discuss PS. That gives me alittle more time to take off another 50 pounds. Sorry I can't help with any advice. I will be looking for you this time next year to see what I need. Good Luck to you and may all your dreams come true.

L: 2 oz steak, 3 french fries
Mid afternoon: Handful of dry roasted peanuts, 3 SF murrays shortbread cookies
S: Salad w/ cheese and raw veggies
Snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese
Now: coffee w/ 1 pkg carb conscious vanilla in it
Later: strawberries

Yes I can relate to that, I had my surgery on May 10th last year, and weighed in at 286 one week prior to surgery. Am now down to 210 give or take a couple lbs. I too had thought I would reach the 100 lbs by now but the last 4 months have been next to no loss at all, am gaining muscle however as I continue to work out at curves. I have also lost some inches, but the weight is not coming off. I am 58 years old and know that is part of my problem. My skin is not very elastic and I have probably about 30 or more lbs of loose skin. But like you, my health has greatly improved. I am no longer plagued with hypertension and diabetes, and have more energy, and zest for life. Guess I will never be a size 6 like my friend who had the surgery. WE both started at size 26 dress, but I am down to a 16-18 dress and size 12 pants in the good brands. I have very large hands, head and feet, wrist, and am not small boned like her, so I guess I need to be happy with the inches lost. I eat much healthier now. I still feel if I do not lose any more weight that this is not a failure. Linda

Congratulations on your weight loss and regaining your health. He is the one who deserves all the credit. He has made this possible for so many people. I thank Him everyday for my new life. My 1 yr was Wed. The 4th, I am down 147 and stuck right now for 3 months. That is so frustrating but I must focus on where I came from instead of where I'm going. I have faith I will get there. I am so happy for you to be free of the meds. That is wonderful. Keep up the good attitude and stay focused.

My 1 yr was Wed. The 4th, I am down 147 and stuck right now for 3 months. That is so frustrating but I must focus on where I came from instead of where I'm going. I have faith I will get there. I am so happy for you to be free of the meds. That is wonderful. Keep up the good attitude and stay focused.

GUESS WHAT??? Today I was scheduled for my TT/hernia repair/scar revision.....for MAY 16th!!!!!!!!
Now I have to figure out what I need to get prepared. Any & all advice would be appreciated!! I will start my protein loading today....faithfully take vitamins....etc... My mom will not be able to come here to help so I will have to deal with my hubby only have off for 4 days and my 11yr old daughter helping. Well I will updat more later...my kids just came home..

i've lost 60 pounds and that has been that. i got excited the other day because the scale had moved. trouble was, it had physically been moved and the dial shot back up when i put back into its original place. i know in my heart that i weigh what it says but see my surgeon on the 11th. as long as he's comfortable with 60 pounds, i will be, too..............
life is so much better this year.......................
