back from reconstructive surgery
As I posted in the plastic surgery forum, I am back from all my surgeries. It's been 2 weeks now, and I am still in pain, and so tired. I just wanted everyone to know that my surgeries went well. This is what I underwent:
Breast reduction/lift; excess skin removal from under arm by side of breasts, brachioplasty, hernia repair, anchor incision tummy tuck, LBL (belt lipectomy), medial thigh lift, and lipo to knees.
It was alot to do at once, but I am really glad that I did it. If you want to read about my experience, please check my profile. I am still updating it, but you can get the idea.
I have some before pics and some pics from 9 days post-op. you can view them at: http://www.shutterfly.com/view/pictures.jsp
If they ask for an email, it's [email protected] and the password is: ps1105
I went into surgery weighing 132 lbs and I am currently @ 119 lbs.
It's weird, I keep hearing from all the nurses and staff how tiny I am, I never expected to be tiny.
Thanks for listening.

Hey, I was wondering if you were ok, I was starting to worry! You sure are a brave one!! Good for you, you are gonna look great, you already do!! Can I ask?, Where did you carry your weight before? I had a consult, and ps says I need an extended pannelectomy(SP) . My weight was and still is, all in my upper body. My hips are smaller than my waist, I have a huge roll above my waist. I just wonder if that will take care of my problem.
any ways... I am glad to hear that you have come through so well!!
Take care!!

Thanks! My weight was pretty evenly distributed, I always was...just fat everywhere. My stomach and hips and back all were bad, that's why I had the belt lipectomy, so that it went all the way around, and even lift up the outer thighs. My arms were horrible, and they look better every day.
the pain is bad, I'm not going to lie, but it is all worth it...in a few months, I'll look great, and hopefully feel it too!
