I would like to hear from others that are May babies who have had PS. Specifically a "full" body lift (front and back) all they way around/Tummy Tuck and breast augmentation with implants. If anyone out there has already had this surgery I would like to here from you in reference to recovery and what to expect i.e. results, healing process. Etc. I'm between 5'1"-5'2" 126 lbs. Size 1-3. Prior to surgery I weighed 235.5 and wore a size 18-20. I'm really looking forward to my surgery; I'm scheduled for October 31.

Chris, Will we need someone at home with us the first couple of days? My daughter is going to stay with me the first two days after I get home. Its Football Season and my husbands a coach. He asked me if I wanted to wait until after Football Season, I replied "No Way" . I told him not to worry, I will be o.k.

Best of luck with your surgery. I'm also having my LBL on the 31st. I had arm lift and breast lift with augmentation August 15. My mom stayed with me for 5 days, which was extremely helpful. My doc said I needed someone with me for at least the first 24 hours. I could have managed on my own after 2 days, but it was nice not to have to. He gave me the same 24 hour rule for the LBL, however I'll be in the hospital for the first night, so the 24 hours applies to day 2. Pain was not too bad, take meds as prescribed. My breasts were sensitive and quite sore for a while, but again, not too unbearable. Results so far are good, and I'm looking forward to having the LBL complete. Let me know if you have any questions. Kim

I thought we were supposed to wait 2 years before having PS? I know I'll need it but I want to get to my goal weight first. Are you guys there already?

I had my WLS one year check up at 14 months. My WLS Doc said there would be no need for me to have 15 month check up (because I was doing so well) and he would see me next year at my two year anv date (May 10, 2006). He gave me the green light for PS. I am at goal BMI (23) with a body fat of 23%. As you know everyone recovers diffrently from WLS. When and if you have PS will depend on your individual results.
