Need help with Protein

I have not been getting in enough protein and I really would like some advice on the protein shakes. I tried several types--the powder just clumps even in the blender. I was using the canned Atkins shakes, but now they taste way too thick and sweet. Dairy products give me bad intestinal problems so I have really stayed away from milk, cheeses etc. I hate eggs in all forms (always did). I do eat beef, chicken, pork, and seafood. But in a given day I cannot eat enough of these for my protein needs. I would like to find a protein shake which provides about 20 grams of protein and has a light fruity taste. Since I do not drink coffee, those flavours would be out. Have been very discouraged because I seem to be sitting at a long plateau and I need to get jumpstarted. Thanks to anybody who can recommend a good and tasty protein shake--I do not wish to buy online but I do live close to a Vitamin Shopp and a GNC. Tootsie 255/172/135 (someday????)

unjury.com just came out with a new strawberry type drink that can be mixed in water. I love unjury i use it with the atkins fat free milk. I always got choc or van, but I am excited about them finally having a strawberry. Go get a sample pack and see if you like. I know that unjury mixed very well in milk so they know how to make a drink. Has 20g of protien plus extra with milk. But its a great drinker. hope this helps NAT

Have you tried the Nector Brand they have a lemonade, and other fruit flavors. The Lemonade tastes good alone but I really like it mixed with the Minute Maid light lemonade over ice. Hope that helps you. Have you tried some of the protien bars. I have found that I can do those now. I just can not eat an entire one in one setting but for 19-23 grams of protien I can get them in for the day. Gerriann 170 pounds gone forever!

The Vitamin Shoppe sells the NECTAR protein drinks , They come in all kinds of flavors.. Peach Nectar.. Lemonade.. a Cherry one .. and the newest is the Iced Tea ... I love these products . I swear by them . If you have been on a stall out .. here is what I suggest to those in my support group . Maintain no less than 120 grams of protein a day . You can do this with the Nectar products. 2 or 3 shakes a day .. 3 would be 66 grams ( Each serving is 23 grams ) . Then if you can do 4 oz of chicken and another dense protein you can reach that goal . Then you need to make sure your water is atleast 64 oz .. and keep exersising . If you are doing the same exersise now that you did in the begining .. you may need to change up . I hope this helps you .. Great luck and hugs , Natalie
