We are having a girl!!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know, that we are having a baby girl!!!! Her name will be Mattea Jade. Mattea means gift of God. We are so excited to have found out, and got the girl we so wished for. Baby and I are doing fine, and she is very healthy. She is about 1 1/2 pounds, and 13inches long right now. I have gained a total of 7 pounds. Not to bad for being 6 months pregnant. ONce I get some pregnant pictures taken, I will have them put on my profile for you all to see. Thank you for all your support!!- Melissa

Ohh Melissa.. I am so happy for you . A little Girl Angel .. how sweet is that . I remember when I first seen my little Amy .. words where not spoken.. it was as if the Angels from Heaven delivered her to my heart . This little girl is so special ... Congrats to you. And do you know how many people would die if they heard only 6 lbs at 6 months pregnant. LOL I am having heart palputations just thinking about it LOL... Why oh Why when I had my kids could this not be the case for me. Oh well, Congrats agian a little girl yeah!!!!! NAT

Nat thank you so much! When I had my son, I gained 50lbs, and then kept gaining from there. Which is what led me to GBS. I was afraid of what getting pregnant would do to my success with this surgery. I still worry, but I am very please with the results so far. My OB wants me to gain about 20lbs total. I do know that if I hadnt had this surgery, I probably would not have been able to get pregnant being so obese. I am very happy. Thanks again sweetie!!- Melissa
