Update on me and the baby!!
First off let me say I am sorry for slacking so much on posting. It has been a real busy summer. This is the busiest I have been since my panic attacks, so I am kind of proud about that. I am doing fine, I have gained 7lbs so far, and still have 3 months to go. I know I need to gain some, but it still gets depressing watching the scale go up instead of down. I look like I have gained 20lbs, lol. So far I have been blessed it is all tummy. For about a week now I have been feeling the little one kick and squirm about. It seems to like to kick me in the bladder!! I am concerned about leaking. It isnt alot, but I always have a tiny damp spot. I will be talking to my OB on tuesday July 12th about it. My labs have been coming back with flying colors. I am to stay away from anyone exposed to shingles or chicken pox seeming as I have not had them according to my blood work. I am not going to update my posting pic, since I dont want to see it going down, then back up, however I will take pics while pregnant and have them put on my profile soon. Ok now for the baby. When I go to the OB on the 12th, we are having another ultrasound. Hopefully we will get to find out the sex. We are hoping for a girl, but ofcourse will be happy with any healthy baby. If it is a girl, she will be named Mattea Jade, and if it is a boy it will be Stephen Alexander. This pregnancy is alot different than my first. I dont do well in the heat at all. I get blurrd vision, light headed and have to sit down for a while. I get this way in such a short period of time. It can only be 5 minutes and I get this way. Besides that baby is active and healthy. I know I have not been around alot, but hopefully after summer break I will get more time. we are leaving for another trip right after my OB appt, so I will let you all know how the ultrasound went when we get back on the 17th of July. Anthony had his first swim meet, and got 2 first place, 2 2nd place and one 3rd place. I am so proud of him. Tonya, we had a blast at KY kingdom with you and Ashley, I will email photos later. Sorry I couldnt do more at the park. I want to thank all of you for your support through this long journey we have taken. You are all doing so well, and looking great. I hope once the baby is born I can get right back on that losing side, maybe even a tummy tuck!! As of right now, my OB is planning on doing a c-section the first week of NOvember depending on how baby is doing. Ill be back in about a week, and update you all, again I am sorry I have been so absent from the boards lately. It should get better after summer break when we dont have so much planned.- Melissa
Ash had a blast as well. She wants to come down and see you guys but she isn't coming home until a week before school starts. LOL Yeah, that is enough time. LOL Hey, we did alot!! Noone complained. I liked the pool better anyway. LOL Even though you made me look like a ghost. LOL I had tons of fun. I just wished we could have gotten together more while you were up here. Ash is telling everyone that you are her aunt and Anthony is her little cousin. LOL She cracks me up. Tell him I am sooooo proud of him winning all those events and that we wend our love to all of you. This baby is fine even though he tried to give it to me if it's a girl. LOL that was funny!!!
