sizes...juniors vs. misses

Ok...dumb question probably, but what exactly is the difference in sizing between juniors and misses? I wear an 11 in juniors, some 9's....so what does that equal in misses sizes? Thanks, Andrea

Hi Andrea The difference is the cut, Juniors seem to be straighter in the waste and a not as long in the leg. I found I'm a 10/12 in Misses but I can fit into about a 15 in juniors. So maybe you would be a an 8 in misses? Just a guess though ~Jenna

The other reply was right...also juniors are cute lower in the rise them misses. Their low rise is lower then misses low rise. An 11 is like an 8 and a 9 is like a 6...I think! Julie S.

Hi Andrea, The main difference is cut. I've never fit well into Jrs. because I'm tall, & have curves. Even, now, much thinner, I have more of an hour-glass shape so I don't fit into the straight lines of Jr clothing. Tops are ok, but I have to get a Large in the JR, as opposed to a small/medium in misses. And skirts....forget it, way too short, for me like wearing a belt!!! Good Luck!
