1 YR TODAY & GOING TO THE BALL.....AND I have a date!

Well, I posted earlier this week but had to check in ON THE DAY! Today is my 1 YR ANNIVERSARY OF WLS!!!! And, BOY, am I celebrating. Tonight, I'm going to the "Spring Ball" (dinner/dance)....AND......DRUM ROLL PLEASE..... I have DATE... Yes, ladies, a real live, breathing, date! This is my first date in about 10 years, and I feel like a befuddled teenager! Trying to be cool, of course, but man....this is tough! I got the dress, I got the shoes....now, if I could just gather up some courage! Thanks to all who have been so supportive during this exciting year. You are a such a wonderful group I can't imagine having gone through this without your kindness and wisdom. Congratulations, Remember how much courage we needed to go ahead and have this surgery WELL NOTHING IS BEYOND US NOW at least with a date he is reversable but have a great time and remember you are a beautiful and couragouse woman except nothing less than what you want. cos now you are one woman. maggie.
