Tummy Tuck scheduled!

GUESS WHAT??? Today I was scheduled for my TT/hernia repair/scar revision.....for MAY 16th!!!!!!!! Now I have to figure out what I need to get prepared. Any & all advice would be appreciated!! I will start my protein loading today....faithfully take vitamins....etc... My mom will not be able to come here to help so I will have to deal with my hubby only have off for 4 days and my 11yr old daughter helping. Well I will updat more later...my kids just came home.. Congrats on your date. I can't image you looking any better. You are beautiful girlie. I know you must be excited. I had my 1 yr. checkup and doc says I need to wait 1 more year to discuss PS. That gives me alittle more time to take off another 50 pounds. Sorry I can't help with any advice. I will be looking for you this time next year to see what I need. Congrats Julie!! I am going for my tummy tuck with hernia repair, hopefully lower body lift, and brachiopllasty consult in June. I am so excited. Quick question for you, you are not at goal yet, neither am I. Did your PS say approx. how much weight you'd lose once all the extra skin is gone? Just curious, I am about 13 pounds to my doctor's goal and my personal goal is 17 pounds away. Keep us posted!, and take pictures! Tricia

Thank you! I WISH I was having a whole lower body lift...I wish you all the best when you have your consult! As far as how much I will loose...I think it really depends on how much extra skin you have in the area. I forgot to ask my surgeon!! I am told though that since we have hernias that sometimes we are able to eat a little more since our pouch has more room to stretch after eating and that after the hernia is fixed....we will get full faster again. Which will cause us to jump start our weightloss again...now this is all hear say to me until I find out for myself...BUT....It is something to be hopeful about!! I will take lots of pics!!
