Just wanted to say Thanks you!
Hi Emma:
My best wishes are with you. I had a very emotional moment on the way to work today, as I realized that my 1-year anniversary is coming up (May 20th), and I have not hit the 100-pound lost mark yet.....(80 pounds gone - gaining and losing the same 5 pounds since March). I have watched and learned a lot from this website, and I have increased the water, protein, and excercise. I believe that I will hit the century-mark eventually, but even if I don't I am trying to look on the (very) bright side:
-I can walk for 3 miles without feeling like I am having a heart attack.
-excessive Sweating is a thing of the past.
-clothes actually fit and look good on me.
-I can shop in most clothing stores.
-I fit in airplane seats.
-I actually eat better than I have in YEARS (nutrition-wise).
-I do not feel "guilty" eating and enjoying food in public.
-I do not have to "hide" anymore.
-I am not tired all the time.
-Excercise is no longer a foreign term for me.
If I do not lose another pound, (and maintain this weight-loss) I have accomplished SO much, that it would be silly to have regrets...That said, I really want these last 20 pounds to come off, and I am going to work like hell to get there......lets stay positive together!!!! We CAN do it!
Life sure is a lot better these days!
Much love to you - you are NOT alone!

Hey Patsy,
You are doing great!! You will keep on losing...I think we hit a plateau...however that stinking word is spelled...and we get really discouraged!! I know why I am there...but, at least I am not gaining!!
That's the good part. Any one of us...a year ago...would have lost the 80 pounds or so, and then gained it back...so think of it that way!!
Good luck...keep on losing!!!!!
