How many calories do you now eat in a day?
After a year out and you are trying to maintain, maybe loose the last few hard-to-take-off-pounds. Just wanted to get the numbers from people. I know it varies from person to person but my nutritionist told me I am not getting in enough calories for the day and I feel that I am eating way too much already. I am a year out and need to take off another 30 pounds. I exercise 2 times a day, about 2 hours a day, 5 times a week, and get in between 1000-1500 calories a day--that's if I really pu**** and I manage to get in at least 100 grams of protein in a day. This feels like I am stretching my pouch and really overeating. I have only been loosing about a pound a week now for the last few months, but am still wanting to loose more. What works for you guys?
Funny .. I just posted to my VA board .. I barely get in 900 a day . and I know I should be eating more .. but how ??? I do 2 protein drinks a day ..and keep my carbs @ 30 now .. but man o man.. she is going to want me to get them up and I just do not know how. I spoke to a gal that is 2 years out and she gets in @ 2000 a day .. right now there is no way .. I hang between 148 and 150 ..depends on my fluid intake from the previous day.. I want to get to 145 and stop . I too loose about 1 pound a week so far .. I backed off from the gym cuz I was loosing to fast .. I go about 2 x a week and walk the rest of the time . I know changing up my exersise routine normally jumps starts a significant loss. Perhaps I will add swimming back to my day and see if these last few will come off . My docs goal was 150 pounds .. but I am addicted to these new sizes and do not want to ever go back to anything other than a size 6 . It is for life that is for sure ..

I usually eat between 750-1000 calories a day, depends...some days I can eat more than others. I exercise 3-4 days a week and usually for an hour. I am currently at 143 lbs (with my period) and I didn't gain weight (which is unusual, I usually gain 3-6 pounds) anyway, my doc's goal is 130, so I have 13 pounds left, and haven't lost much since March. It is going very slow. I drink 70-90 oz of water/decaf ice tea unsweetend a day. I think that maybe if I did eat more it would come off faster, but it's hard to get in more that what I am already eating. To me, it sounds like you're getting in a good number of calories per day. Keep it up, it will come off.
How much do you usually lose in a month? I lose only 1-2 weeks out of the month and average 4-8 pounds a month, so it is very slow.
