What are you going to do???
Hi Lisa,
Last summer I had surgery, we had our 20th wedding anniversary and turned 40. It was a big summer. We didn't do much to celebrate as I was recovering so this summer we're going on a cruise. It will be our first cruise so we're very excited. Of course I'd take some gold too if he insisted.

Lisa .. you are so right .. what a Re-Birtday month this is .. I have so many things I want to do but here is how I plan on spending my day .. May 27th ..
I took that day off from work . I am going to go back up to the hospital to the nurses station where I was in the hospital and present the nurses there with flowers and a card .
Then I am going over to my doctors office and present the nurse practioner there who has been with me thru all of this with flowers and a card .. and if I can catch him . I am going to present my surgeon with a gift and a hand written card as well . I am then coming back home to prepare for a huge party at a local eatery .. with some of my new WLS friends and family .. The following Saturday .. I am heading to the beach to run like the wind .. I just can not wait .. it will be a day to celebrate for sure .. So many milestones for me have been made this past year .. and I just want to shout it from the roof tops ..
Hugs .

Well, I am broke, but I have a vacation planned to go to Califonia for 10 days. That's my present...enjoy California, family that I haven't seen in a year, and take my daughter to Disney Land.
When I have my 1 year appt with my surgeon, I plan on giving him a very sentimental card and thank him for all he's done!!! He's great and has helped me live a longer life.
Maybe after I get my tummy tuck and hernia repair (hopefully in Sept), then I'll celebrate and go shopping!!!! I would love to buy a whole bunch of new clothes, but I need to save up for that.
