Todays Events!
Well today was a day that I thought would never come. I walked Bloomsday (7.5 mile walk) The course includes Doomsday Hill and just a wonderful walk around Spoakane. My guys and I completed the walk in about 3 hours! I have the sunburn, blister on my toe and the T-shirt to add to my list of accomplishments. A year ago I never would have even thought about it and today I am amazed that am 170 pound lighter and more fit than ever before. The photos will be up soon and I hope to have a few to share with everyone.

That is such an accomplishment ! I know you are proud of yourself ! Give yourself a BIG pat on the back !! I walked in a 10 K a month ago and it felt sooooooo good considering that last year just walking up the stairs just about killed me ;) CONGRATS and keep on WALKING !!
2 months ago I walked a marathon..Of course, it took me 6 weeks to do but I did it ! LOL The Wellness Center had a marathon and any walking /stair climbing you did there counted for 6 weeks to try to make it to the 26mile mark . I only could make it there 2 times a week as I walk 3.5- 6 miles 2 days a week with a walking group I am in and that didn't count I surpassed that mark but it was so funny when I had completed it and told my family and friends that I walked a marathon ... they had an utter look of disbelief in their eyes ! LOL But we got cool prizes for doing so ..such as t-shirts, water bottles, pedometer,walking guide,etc.. !!! TOO FUN !!!
I wish we could all get together for a HUGE relay tag across the US ! LOL
