My Orthopedic surgeon has finally agreed to replace my knee. I am to have surgery on May 10th!!!! Yippee!!!! finally I will be able to do something about this pain in my right knee. The main reason I had bariatric surgery was to lose enough weight that he would agree to do my knee! I am so happy that I finally have a date for surgery. Roberta

Hey there. I just found out a week ago that my knees will have to be replaced sooner rather than later. I've lost 141 lbs so far, wth about another 50 to go. I have a consult for the knees in June. Please keep us posted as to how you do. Ms. Healthy -141

This is the one thing I am afraid of . I have to have both knees done and I haven't been released from my surgeon to get knee replacements yet. Even though I lost the weight my knees are no better. All I can do is wish you well and I hope all goes well for you. I know I have to have it done but it frightens me. Blessings to you for a successful surgery. Claudia D D
