10 Months Today ! Happy Easter..
Happy Easter Everyone , Happy Spring too .
Today is my 10th month since WLS . I am quickly approaching my year and I can tell you this has been one awesome 10 months .
Loosing all of this weight ( 148 so far ) has been so overwhelming . I have gone from this very sad .. sick ... obese person to a now alive - healthy and thinner me .
I now am begining my maintence stage and just can not get over how I look now . I went from a size 26 to now a size 8 . I still have work to do and still learning about my new lifestyle even at 10 months .
In the begining , I promised God and my family that once I reached my goal weight I would begin to give it back . .meaning helping others here and in my community with Obesity . So in saying that Last week I became one of AMOS'S first Obesity Help Support Team Leaders . I begin my training this week . I know this is what I am being called to do and can not wait to get started .
So for those reading this pre-op or newly post op .. Stay positive and keep educating your self . Read all you can here .. post on the message boards and please update your profile . Know that life for you gets better and better with each day .
For Post Ops - Life is good ! Never forget where you came from and give it back to others here - share your success - your encouragement and update your profile so others can read your journey . There are so many things that preops can get from you .
I just wanted to say how Happy I am to be among such wonderful people , and I look forward to celebrating my year anniversary with you .
