... just sore as hell so I won't be on long. They did it outpatient but I stayed at a motel lastnight just in case something went wrong. I'm hopped up on painkillers so I am gonna go be a couch potato. Love you all Monica

Wow congrats!!! I am glad everything went well and I wish you a speedy recovery. I will have to wait much longer for my tt now that we are expecting a baby in November, so it will more than likely be in 2006. I hope you post pictures later, I bet you look amazing- Melissa

Congrats, Monica! Did you insurance pay for your TT? If so, share all your secrets besides the obvious; documentation: photos, doctor visits, etc. I saw your pics on your profile....You didn't have much of a belly after your weight loss so I am very interested to hear if insurance paid this!! Congratulations and I hope your recovery is as painfree as possible! Hugs, Denise

My insurance is ChampVa and I am not sure if they are covering it or not but I should know soon. The chances are that they will as they term this reconstructive instead of cosmetic. My doctor is filing it as a panniculectomy and hernia repair. I asked him if any muscle tightening would be done since it was a panniculectomy and not an abdominoplasty but he said that he felt that a lot of the muscle tightening needed to be done for the hernia repair to make it less likely that I would develop another and that is why he feels okay with coding that way. All indications are that they won't have an issue. ChampVa is such great insurance. They didn't even ask for preauthorization to do my gastric bypass, just said send us the bill. If they don't cover it.... well... anyone have $16000 I can borrow?
