Hi Melissa, I lurk here everyday, reading everyone's posts, but I don't usually post. Anyway, first, congratulations on your pregnancy! For me, I have been experiencing really bad gas since surgery. I found out through trial and error, that a big contibutor to it was my protein bars. Everytime I eat one, within hours I get bad gas and a gurling stomach. Standing upright and walking helps relieve it. Notice I didn't mention that (Exercise) word, since I also hate to do it. I still occasionally eat them, but then I expect to get the gas pains and pressure that come with it. I also take a tums every morning and every night. Just check with both of your doctors. Hope you find relief soon. Anne

Tums should be fine..I never left home with out a bottle of the, I had severe heartburn all of the time. But I would ask the doc which one he recommends...maybe one that also has gas relief. I wish you luck...that is awful pain to deal with. HUGS... Julie S.

Melissa, I am sorry to hear about your gas! I had that about a month ago and I swear I needed to go to the ER. It reminded me of being dilated to a 10 when I was pregnant...20 yrs ago! LOL Looks like you got some good reply's on what to take. Take care, Brenda
