1) What is your strangest, wildest, or silliest goal after losing the weight.
2) Do you have any tattoos, If so, how many and where?
3) What was the DEFINING moment that led you to choose weight loss surgery.
I have learned a lot about you all ..

1) What is your strangest, wildest, or silliest goal after losing the weight.
I was curious if my feet would shrink so I could wear heals .. And by golly they did .. Now that the weight is off .. I am going to see if I can ride some rollercoasters.. sit indian style ... cross my legs ... and do a cartwheel !
2) Do you have any tattoos, If so, how many and where?
I have one .. I got it when I had lost my first 50 lbs . It is a dragon fly on my left ankle .. I received a gift cert for another one . This one will be a pixie . On my back ..
3) What was the DEFINING moment that led you to choose weight loss surgery.
When I was diagnosed with Diabetes and had to go on insulin 2 x a day . That did it for me . MY father died from congestive heart failure so ... I knew it was time to kiss off all the damn diets and just do it .. And thank God I did ..
1) What is your strangest, wildest, or silliest goal after losing the weight.
.... to live a "normal" life... went to Kings Island Amusement Park on the last day before they closed for winter and rode many rides (loved it)... can fit in a booth... can sit on the floor and get up without rolling over first.... can climb steps to the 3rd floor at work (no elevator) and not get out of breath... can walk and walk and walk (and enjoy it) and not waddle and waddle and waddle (and hurt)... have people look me in the eye and smile and say "how are you" or "have a nice day" instead of staring at the ground not wanting to know that I'm there... have sex all night and again the next morning instead of wondering if I'm gonna have a heart attack because I REALLY DID HAVE CHEST PAINS.. SO MANY MORE THAT PROBABLY DO SOUND SILLY TO A "NORMAL" PERSON... BUT NOT TO ME!!!
2) Do you have any tattoos, If so, how many and where? Nope..
3) What was the DEFINING moment that led you to choose weight loss surgery. Thought about it for a couple years... Insurance would not have covered it... I started a new job (I process medical claims) and realized that my new company does cover it... Tried many diets.. (don't beleive in them).. Health and appearance... would hear men make fun of "my fat a$$" behind my back but basically it was in my face (they knew I heard them.. but they didn't care).... ~~Since WLS I've thanked them.. without them being soooo mean, I might not have had the courage~~
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!
Hi Nat...
Glad you're feeling better, but I think I'm getting your bug!
1) Really can't come up with a strange/wild/silly goal. I just couldn't wait to feel GOOD!! AND BOY DO I!
2) No tats for me.
3) Started staying home more and more, because I could not stand the reflection I was seeing in mirrors & windows...could not belive it was me! Stopped being in family & holiday photos...could not stand what I saw. When I realized I couldn't & wasn't getting my diabetes undercontrol & was maxed out on meds and going to have to go on Insulin....that was the final straw!
Have a great weekend

1) What is your strangest, wildest, or silliest goal after losing the weight.
fitting in an airplane seat, going on roller coasters. I can do the roller coasters, did that this summer, havent had the money to fly anywhere, lol. And not really a goal, but all my earings used to pop out from my ears being so fat, and I wondered if I would ever get to wear earrings again or if that was just how my ears were. Suprise I lost weight in my ears too, lol.
2) Do you have any tattoos, If so, how many and where?
None
3) What was the DEFINING moment that led you to choose weight loss surgery.
Lots of things, mainly wanting to be around for my family, and get to do more with them. Always worrying about dying from some related obese problem.

I don't know if these are that out there... I want to hike the Grand Canyon and I want to run one 5K race once a month from 1 year out. I am ahead of my goal and will run my first this month.
2) Do you have any tattoos, If so, how many and where?
Nope, I am a chicken. There isn't much that I want on me forever. OK, maybe a monkey (Curious George RULES) - but I am afraid they won't get the right look and I would be screwed.
3) What was the DEFINING moment that led you to choose weight loss surgery.
This is a bit embaressing but when my endocrynologist told hormone condition was obesity related and the hormone supplements he was prescribing were akin to chemical castration. That was it for me.
(OMG - A guy thinking with his you know what???)
1) What is your strangest, wildest, or silliest goal after losing the weight. I wanna be on one of those talk shows...."If they could see me now."
2) Do you have any tattoos, If so, how many and where? I have none now but would like to get one....hmmm that could be the answer to #1 too....lol
3) What was the DEFINING moment that led you to choose weight loss surgery. I could not breath while sitting, I was miserable. I wanted to live!!
Hey all,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been neck deep in finishing this novel (whew) and now I can breathe a little again. I'ev discovered that sequels are a pain! LOL!
1) What is your strangest, wildest, or silliest goal after losing the weight.
I want to hike the Pacific Crest Trail (well, my wife thinks this is pretty crazy anyway, but only because I want to drag her along! LOL!)
2) Do you have any tattoos, If so, how many and where?
Not yet. I've just finished designing my first one (upper left forarm above chainsaw scars) it's 4 ancient Hebrew symbols that mean "Yes Lord" a buddy and are are going in together next month.
3) What was the DEFINING moment that led you to choose weight loss surgery.
I had this horrifying nightmare about having a heart attack while camping way out in the woods with Vic. You can read the whole thing on my profile page.
Blessings!
