After years of having longer-than-usual periods (40-50+ days) Since the surgery, my cycle has gotten shorter and shorter and this past month it was only 23 days long. Is anyone else having this problem? Is this normal? Should I go see my doctor? If there was ONE benefit to being overweight, it was having 5-6 week cycles! lol Jen

Hi Jen, we had surgery on the same day how cool.I know what you mean about the period thing mine was non existant before surgery and now I seem to be normal...it happened right after surgery. If you are concerned by all means go see the doc...how are you feeling ? Do you feel as tho something is wrong? I will pray for you and hope that it's your body just adjusting.....but I think your right not having a period was the Only good thing about being MO...lol. Hope you have a good day. I was having that problem before surgery. They tried to correct it by putting me on birth control pills, but that didn't work. So after 5 months of trying to correct it I ended up having a hysterectomy. Also it could be still the hormonal thing because of surgery, but I would just call the Dr. just to make sure nothing goofy is going on. Take care Michelle
