Hi Laura Thank you for the warm welcome Congrats on your WL so far also....I know what you mean about eating more and I have been eating alot more. I am getting worried though because I have been binging (lightly whatever that may mean) I also know what you mean about leaving another board....I left BAF (black amercian forum) due to too many conflicts, cliques, ect. Well, not really cliques but it is phony. Everybody repeating the same thing and I do feel we can help each other more than anyone else because like I said before we started this journey all about the same time Well, you take care Laura and I DO Plan on staying Cherrion

Cherrion, glad to see your post! Yep the ol'e one year mark is fast approaching. I rememeber a year ago this time I would dream what it would be like to be thin again, and as much as I wanted it I just never truly believed these day's would be here. I came out of the hospital weighing 268, and today I weigh 136. I am 30 lb lighter than my surgeons goal, and roughly 11 lbs from my personal goal. I unfortunatly have very small bones, so I look heavier than I am I have some skin issues with my tummy, kinda looks like jello that wiggles when touched. lol but I don't no if it warrent's a scar for a tummy tuck. Boobs? Well, I was a DD and now barely a C...so boobs are definatly comming I found an excellant surgeon in Brazil who's done SO MANY WLS folks and plan on going there early next year...if I can wait that long. Life is great, and I am so glad I have had this journey. Take care and I will be looking for your post's. Hugs, Brenda

Hey Brenda! You go! 136lbs??? Thats what I am talkin about...for some reason I feel like I weigh that but the scale tells me differently I don't even know what size bra I wear now cuz I can't fit NONE of my old ones... I started my journey on May 12th @ 247 lbs. I am currently at 153 lbs and have 25 pounds more to goal. I am in a size 12, started in a 22/24 depending. I just had lipo done on my upper arms, and plan on a brachioplasty (sp) in the future. I do have a hernia and plan on having that fixed with a tummy tuck and lower body lift. I would like to have my breast lifted (they look aweful), but it depends how much it will cost if I can't get my insurance to pay for it. I know that once I hit my goal, I will be going on a shopping spree to regular stores and not the thrift shops (although I did get some nice stuff there). Tricia

Welcome ... Cherrion ... and yes .. we love to have everyone posting .. I probably post more than others .. as I love this group ! I think it is because we all started this at the same time .. I started this wonderful new life at 297 pounds , diabetic and really sick .. I was size 26 .. Now down 138 pounds - size 10 and Healthy as can be .. I have had no major complications ... I do dump - thank you God ..I am intolerant to fats ... so I keep to the plan as much as I can .. You will find me as the motivator here ... I feel like that we all derserve to be healthy and should do our part to stay this way .. Knowing that we are all human .. it is just nice to be able to come here to let others know our struggles .. My weight fluctuates from 158 to 160 .. had my 9th mo ck up and ws told I would loose more in the upcoming 9 months .. whewww I dont think I can stand much more .. Glad to see you posting.... keep us up to date .. and know we are all here for you .. Huggles , Natalie
