Your Tool .. it is a gift...
Ladies and Gents of the May Babies Club .. Listen up .. I have noticed lately that a lot of you are begining to post that your eating more .. and eating the wrong things . I want to be the first to say .. I am not perfect and do test the waters .. and truly pay for it later . Most is by accident .. as I sometimes forgo reading labels ..
I wanted to say ... stop now before it is too late .. So what you do not dump on sugar .. Sugar is bad for you - no matter what .. Sugar and Fats are why we all weighed over 200 lbs ..
You must get your mind set that food is your friend and make good healthy choices . It is so easy to do now for me . Gosh , I would love to be able to bite into a big fat whopper .. but I don't - why because I know what it did to my body . I do not even look at candy .. why because I know what it did to my body ..
All of us have come so very far .. why ruin it .. I know it is hard .. I do .. but I just do not want to be on here one day and begin reading a post where someone here starts to gain weight .. it can happen.. and it does .. we are at a time right now where we are feeling better.. life is good and a pinch here or a bite there .. well it does add up ..Just be mindful of what you are putting in the ole pie whole .. When you crave a sweet .. or want a bite of a cookie .. grab a protein bar .. there are so many good ones out there .. it satifys trust me .. the best thing I do is grab my decaf tea or a chystal light and walkaway .. I do not mean to come here and sound like I am preaching .. I just want all of us, including myself to have continued success and great health .. we deserve it ..
Know that I am here for you .. and can offer great suggestions when it comes to food choices and how to beat those cravings .. I am still a work in progress , but I am sworn to play the rules of the tool . If you do falter just start over and know you are human .. we are still new at this ..
I love each and everyone of you .. and want nothing but the best .. so just please think about it.. if you are going thru this .. YOU are what matters and your beautiful new life is just begining .

This is very nice to read. I am guilty of having something sweet almost every day. I have always been a sweet-a-holic if you know what I mean. I did buy some sugar free wafers though, and instead of the candy or cookie or cake, I will eat 2 of the sf cookies, and that is only 1/2 the serving. Is this still bad? Probably, but it's better than the sugar. I do good all day long, but my problem is the evenings, when I am winding down. Iget to start exercising again next week (I had a few surgeries these past few weeks, so I haven't been able to exercise), and I hope that this helps me to get my mind straight again. Your post was wonderful (for me at least).

I just want everyone to really think about what they have accomplished and how easy it is to ruin it .
You are doing great . And remember we are all human . I try and stick to the plan as much as I can .. and do not get me wrong .. I miss some foods but have found ways to substitue ..

Reality Baby is that you are going to be with us much longer now because you choose to save your life with the tool...

Natalie, thanks for the GREAT post! Preach away!!!!!! We all no this is only a tool, we all no this in our heads, but reading it from time to time from others is just so good for us! I don't have a sweet tooth, thank god...but I do enjoy a bite here and there...My CONSTANT cravings is cheese..which is great since it is protien, and MEXICAN...I would eat it morning noon and night if I could. thanks again for your wonderful post.

We all need this talk!! But, me espiecially. I was just thinking tonight...as I was eating something I should not be eating...I did not go through all this surgery and stuff to stop at 200 pounds. Yeah, I look great...better than I have in years...and I feel fantastic...but, I am not done yet. I am getting back on track and staying on track.
