Hi,
This is not weather-related-lol! I have been experiencing
very cold (like ice) feet, hands and legs. Even if I am under
the blankets and put on heavy socks it does not matter.
I do not have iron-deficiency anemia- just got tested.
My husband just gasps when he feels how freezing I am
even in the warm house etc. Is this due to some change in
our bodies? I get plenty of exercise throughout the day and
do not have any medical problems other than B-12 deficiency,
which I have had for 10 years and I self-inject. I have lost
75 lbs and am currently at 181 with a goal of 135-140.
Weight loss has virtually come to a grinding halt. The hubby
thinks my body is fighting to hold onto every ounce and with
my body being so cold it seems to have killed all metabolic activity!
No heat=no burn. Anyone else have this problem and what to do?

Tootsie, Yep, it is because you are getting skinny!!!!! yeah! I to have the same problem...day in day out...Look at the bright side....Come summer time, we will have such LOW electric bills!!!!! Before surgery I kept the house in the winter at around 67. We had moderatly low gas bill. My husband bless his heart FROZEEEEEE. Slept in so many layers of clothing, it was so funny I thought. Summer time, our electric bill was outragous due to the air conditioner being on in the spring, summer and fall. He continued to FREEZE. This winter our gas bill has ran around 2-300 a month, trying to stay warm, but this spring, summer and fall should be relatively great, as I sure wont have the A/C on much! It will be a nice welcome!
Hang in there!

Your so not alone on this! I stay cold all the time now. My hubby is part Indian so he stays like an oven even on the coldest days. Were quite the pair now! He will be on the sofa butt naked burning up and i am beside him with sweat shirt and sweat pants and socks on with a blanket rapped around me. I look at it on the bright side he warms me up and i cool him down! lol take it easy Lisa
I use to be hot all the time...I would sweat...not lady like!! And, my room, I am a teacher, would be one of the coldest in my school...I would still sweat. The kids would freeze!!
When I went back after my surgery...I had to wear a heavy duty sweater!! I was ice cold! Wow, what a difference.
Welcome to less insulation...I guess!
Always, if you think it is more than that...contact your doctor!!
Good luck!
