My husband has told me time and time again about the importance of support groups!!! He says any problem you have some one else has already had it. You know he's right. After posting a problem about muscles I had 2 great responses and both were right. I am a nurse (now with a head injury and doesn't practice anymore) but their responses forced me to take a long look at my self and my behavior. I have reached a weight plateau for several months, but have been satisified. I cheat on my diet. (a few sweets here and there and some carbs, I don't exercise enough, I don't take calcium supplements as I should, I didn't take vitamins like I should until given the vitamist.) I put myself in this position. I wanted to lose weight and be a real person again, but I am back in my old patterns of just settling again. I really didn't realize until just now what a delicate balance we have put our bodies into. In order to get through this I need to remember the 6 months after surgery and all that I went through and get back on track. I didn't do this for nothing. Yes I now look good, I feel good, I have energy, but... I hurt. My fault, not enough calcium. Ok tums, here I come. Weight loss stand still, Ok treadmill, here I come. Ok muscles, more protein for you!!!!! Ok coffee you are gone once again, well maybe a treat, 1/2 cup a day. Oh yeah, cigerettes you are once again on your way out. My Surgeon will be grateful, but the inhalers will be gone, and then maybe my meds will work properly. Oh yeah one more thing, Support Group here I come.!!!!!!!!!!!!!I really do want to change. I have got to. No more FAT ME!!! Again thanks for your help and support. Sabrina

You know the first step to solving a personal issue is admitting you have one!! Yeah for you the hardest part is over!!! Yes the rest is hard to but granted it will get easier!! I also had pill issues. I took them half assed. It has actually taken me this long to get all my vitamins in. I have a thing with the size of my pills. So i have found brands that are tiny except for calcium. I force myself to take the calcium but I am doing well on the others. each of us has issues we contend with each and every day. Its all in how we handle them that makes us a healthier and happier person.. Wishing you great success Lisa

You can do this Sabrina. I agree with what your husband says. Support is everything. Please let us know how you are doing and vent away here anytime you need to. Maggie
