1. My new smile. It was hiding under all the fat. 2. New clothes. 3. Bras that fit right and are pretty. 4. My son sitting on my lap and wrapping his legs around me. 5. Wearing my husbands clothes and they are too big. 6. Parking in a far off slot and walking quickly to the store. 7. Praises from others about my choice to have surgery. and finally.... 8. size 14 and XL size clothing. -Gerriann 341/180/155 goal

Another thought... Since today was my birthday... Never spending another birthday hiding from friends and family, over eating, and dreading gifts of clothing. It was a great day!

I love when I walk into the changing room at the gym and I am not embarrased. I love the way lacy bras look . I love my long legs - I look way taller now . I love that My youth shows .. I do not look like an old lady anymore . I love when people compliment me .. I love when my husband says .. dang girl your bony .. I love that I can hold and play with my grandbabies for hours ... I love when I power walk .. I am flying and leave my husband in the dust.. I love the way jeans look on me .. I love ME for the first time in years .. Thank you God ! And If I had not had this surgery .. and found this board , I would never have met so many awesome people that can relate to me .. you all are the best ! Take care , Natalie

I love working out and everything that goes with it - the sweat, pain and endorphin rush. I love living without constant pain. I love it when close fit or start to feel loose. I love the feeling of being in more control of my life, even though I might not really be in control, it still feels like I am navigating through life instead of just getting pushed around by the currents. I love saying NO to people who never gave me a second thought before surgery. It's petty, but screw 'em. I love saying YES to people who where my friends before surgery and still are now.

Let me start by saying 'thank you all' for bringing us all together again and making it interesting agian for us to want to post again! I love crossing my legs I love being able to get up off of the floor with out feeling like I need a crane and pain meds for my knees! I love just throwing on anything in my closet and it looking good. I love when my husband and kids try to lean on me and they say I am too boney...they always have to get a pillow for some cushion..lol I love when my husband looks at me know and tells me how he so amazed at how tiny I am I love being a 'fun' mom now I love cleaning up w/o getting out of breath I love that everyone around me is getting inspired to lose weight because I am now smaller then all of them (jealousy can create monsters....they are doing it for that reason but I am just happy for the healthier aspect!) I love it that I now look more my age or younger I guess that is enough for now Julie S. 265/162/130

Hi Gerriann! I love myself. Thats a first. I love being noticed by the opposite sex, fitting through small openings, my older sis who has always been the thin one asking for my clothes that are too big for me, my husband & children telling me i'm thin and beautiful, catching my reflection and thinking "holy crap is that really me?", old friends not recognising me, one chin, not having my boobs roll up under my chin when I lay down : ) loose bracelets, smaller shoes. Oh the list goes on and on lol. Man I almost forgot, buying a 2 piece bathing suit a few days ago on clearance for $2.50. Melanie

I love people telling me I am wasting away to nothing! I love feeling good about myself I love, loving myself I love people looking at me and whispering now. I love crossing my legs. I love my inner thighs...they don't rub!! I love wearing heels I love trying on clothes I love working out on my geselle I love asking to borrow my daughter's jeans...and they are too big! What I love about the new me... Size 4's!!!! shopping feels good self confidence! husband can't keep his hands off me I feel beautiful (and other people agree) not embarrassed by the amount of food I eat I can reach *everywhere* when I take a bath (not a shower, a BATH) I feel healthy and have hope for my future health my clothes are adorable on the rack *and* on me the whispers the looks the cat calls :D I can sleep! So can my husband!!! :D More than anything I feel normal now, and normal is nice.
