Stuck - I am stuck...

OK .. it is the first day of 05 and my weight has not moved in about 8 days. O I know it is not a platuea but .. I only have 25 more to go to goal . Here lately the only thing I can manage is cheese and crackers... my protein drinks and an occasional salad . I am upping my water again today to see if that helps .. I am still going to the gym .. so what else can I do .. I want to get it all gone ... I am an impatient little pixie .. LOL I am enjoying my new size and just so excited about life now .. I just need a boost ... boost these last 20 off ! Thanks for listening to me ramble .. and complain .. Nat

(Giving Nat a swift kick in the rear.) Nat Dear, You have lost your weight incredibly quick. I think maybe your body needs a minute to catch up. Patience! Those last 25 are amazingly hard to get off. I have been losing and gaining the same 7lbs for about a month and a half. Somedays I think my body is just happy here. I am going to get back to my doctor's orders. He says 2 oz. MEAT protein FIRST at every meal. Then you can have veggies and lastly carbs if you have room for a bite. I know this is the way to go. You mentioned not being able to manage anything besides crackers and cheese, are you having trouble keeping other foods down? Have you let your doctor know this? This could be a problem somewhere. I sure hope not. Good Luck with those last pounds and I'm sure they'll come off in time. Christie

Thanks for the kick ! LOL ... I have talked to the doc about the meat thingy and not being able to handle . She says to try and chew better . Now some meats are ok .. Like roast beef w sm ff gravy .. or Turkey or lunch meats like FF ham .. I just get so sick of eating them .. I am sure my bod is just taking a much needed rest .. I really have been uping my protein lateley and water . SO we will see what happens . I am just an impatient little pixie .. Thanks Christie .. take care , Nat

Dear Nat, Maybe you need to eat MORE. On Thanksgiving I ate and ate and ate and ate! I just kind of grazed through the rest of the day after dinner and thought "oh my GOSH, I am going to gain a ton!" Well, lo and behold, when I went to work on Monday and weighed myself (we have a good, old fashioned doctor's scales in the closet and its the only place I weigh myself) I had lost FIVE pounds!!! I could not believe it! I wasn't able to eat as much at Christmas so I only lost about a pound, but I have heard and read here that sometimes we are not eating ENOUGH! Just a thought! I wish you all the best and hope that last nasty 25 comes off real soon!!
