waving hand in air, me me me. LOL I am a slow looser, I am 4' 9" and started at 250 but now am at 173 kind of stauling, still loosing inches but no wt for a few weeks now. Dr. did tell me that I will be a slow looser, compaired to the heavier counter parts who are taller and weigh more. I am trying to jump start my wt. loss again by walking in the morning and water areobics (while my hubby's work schedule lets me) in the evening. So I will just have to wait and see where things lead me now. Diane

Hey Beth, I'm not a slow loser in my mind, but according to others here I am. I started at 245 and now weigh 166. The one thing my nutritionist told me when I was there at 4 months was too make sure I'm getting in 2 oz of meat at every meal BEFORE I put in anything else. She said that will signal the pouch that you are full and remain full longer. So, if you aren't doing that you could try it. Good Luck, Christie

Yeah.....70 pounds total...not that bad!! But, haven't lost but 10 pounds in the last 2 months!! or 3 months. Gotta get back to exercising!! My fault...no one elses....I didn't go through all this surgery stuff to get stuck half way to my goal....it will come off. My goal weight is 130 pounds by May 26th...my one year anniversary!! I will make it! Jeannie

*raises hand in air* Me! I consider myself a very slow loser. I started at 256 and I'm at 174 today. I've been going back and forth between 173 and 176 for this whole past month, and in the last 2 months, I've only lost 6 pounds.... Though, to be totally honest, with all of the holiday snacking and grazing and not drinking enough water and not eating enough protein, that I've been doing for the last month, I feel lucky to have lost any weight at all. I need to kick myself hard for wasting valuable time in which I could have been losing weight. So, starting today, I'm back on the wagon, doing the things I know I need to do.

ME TOO!! I had a slew of complications so I thought after all of that I should be losing some more, but no way. I think I need to get in more liquids and really up the protein. It has been too cold to walk so I have to kick myself and use the treadmill again.. I am down from 280 to 189.5 and holding like forever it seems!

i am the slowest loser of all, down just 57 pounds since 5/13/04. i know i have to get back on track as my sister is have WLS on january 31st and i want to give her as much support as possible. i am very thankful for the 57 pound loss, however, and haven't regretted having the procedure done for one minute. i wish us all the best of success in '05. gail 251/194/140(somday)

Gail, Maybe the 13th was an unlucky day? I am down to 187 from 255. I know my slowness is my own fault since I have been making bad food choices. Fortunately, I am not back to my old food obsessive self but I know I have to be careful. Back to basics and a little therapy will hopefully help. This board continues to be an encouragement. Best wishes to all! Natasha
