CHRISTMAS PRESENT TO MYSELF ..

I gave myself an early Christmas present . Yesterday I joined AMERICAN FAMILY FITNESS . And I have my first meeting today with my trainer . 7 months ago... I could not enjoy myself at an amusment park because I was so heavy .. my bones ached .. my backed ached and my diabetes was really kicking my butt ... I can now power walk with the best of em .. and my energy level is astounding .. I am a little nervous about today as I have never done anything like this. What was really nice is the General Manager that signed me up knew all about Gastric Bypass .. He knew about our maintence phase .. the Honeymoon phase and just everything that we go thru .. this man had done his homework . He is paring me with someone today that will understand my needs ... Well wish me luck .. and if you have not done this yet .. Get your butt in gear and get to a gym ... Today is not too late ! Happy work outs ! Huggles , Natalie 297-179 - Goal 150 ...

Good for you Natalie!! I personally cannot afford to join a gym or hire a trainer or anything like that, but that's okay. I can work out at home. But I am so proud of you and I wish you all the luck, I'm sure you'll do great!

Nat, Well, I am fortunate that my parents are buying us a gym membership for Christmas to the New gym which is opening Jan. 1 I am so pumped about this. You are very lucky you have someone there who is knowlegable about gastric bypass!!!!! Let me no what workout they put you on! I'll follow in your footsteps. Bren
