My starting weight was 265, I now weight 163. I am 28 lbs from my goal. It's the hardest 28 lbs to lose!!! I have faith I will be there some day.

I started at 248 and am now at 141. My surgeon, whom I see in January, set a range of 135-150 so I sort of feel I'm there. I've never been this small. Its been relatively easy for me with only one or two small plateaus. I'm now working with a nutrition clinic on really learning to eat and stabilizing. I'm starting to dream about plastic surgery. I have a lot of loose skin.

You did a GREAT Job!! Wow, I can't believe you are at goal already!!! You started out just 1 pound more than me, so we were close. CONGRATS!!! Do you think you'll be having a tummy tuck or anything done? I am defniately going to need a lower body lift with tummy tuck, and my bat wings removed. I also want breast lift with maybe some reduction. We'll see, that'll be my last step. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Tricia

How does one know when their Gallbladder needs to come out?

I know because I have been having pains right below my breast line ( on the right side) and having some nasea feelings, so my daughter sent me for an ultra sound and said that I am full of gall stones. If it wasn't for the naseau and pain I wouldn't have ever known. I hope you are doing well. Tricia

My starting weight was 268 and I believe I'm in the 170's now. Not sure as I need to replace the battery in my scale. Started out wearing size 22/24's and I'm now in 12/14's. I have had no complications and my life is pretty good (if not wonderful). I'm so thankful that I was able to have the courage and insurance to have this surgery. Rhonda

My starting weight was 275lbs. I weigh 180 today, I have lost a GRAND TOTAL OF 95lbs. My goal weight is anywhere between 130lbs -140lbs. I have about 40lbs to 50lbs. to go before I reach my personal goal as well as my doctor's goal. Ayesha

I've lost over a 150 pounds since this time last year and over 140 since May. My doctor and I never set a goal for me. I set my own goal of 210, so I have about 80 lbs to go.

I am 7 months post op and have lost 100 lbs. I started out at 332 and am now 232. I would like to get to 180. That would make me have to lose 52 more lbs. to reach my goal. My weight loss is slowing a little bit but I am optimistic I will reach my goal. I eat nothing like I used to eat and have gone from size 22-24 to size 14-16. Because of my age being 50 the doc said it would take a little longer to lose. Congratulations to everyone on the May Message Board on the wonderful losses and the courageous decision they took to do something about their problem. My son Andrew Delpercio had surgery the same day and has gone from 352 lbs. to 224 lbs. in 7 months.
