HOW MUCH MORE TILL GOAL??
I was just wondering where all of you guys are? I feel like I am a very slow loser, and this past 2-3 weeks, I am not losing any weight. I am 32 pounds to my doctor's goal and 42 pounds to my personal goal. I have lost 85 pounds, I feel ok, (I need to have my gallbladder removed, probably sometime in January). I was just curious as to where everyone else is. (I know I shouldn't compare myself, but I am so so curious).

Hi Tricia!! I am 21 pounds to my doctor's goal and 60 pounds to my personal goal. I have lost 109 pounds so far. I have been so lucky, I have only had a couple of plateaus and I guess you couldn't even really call them that, they only lasted about 3 weeks each. No, you shouldn't compare yourself to others, but it so hard not to! I do it all the time! Just keep plugging away, don't give up and it will come off. You're doing great so far! We could have never lost the weight this quickly before the surgery! Be happy and be proud!
Hi Tricia, I too find myself wanting to compare at times but mostly I am just so thankful to be losing weight. I have lost 81 pounds to date. I am about 37 pounds away from my personal goal. I am not doing all the things I should though. I have not been exercising and have been shaky on the protein shakes lately lol. But I am trying to change my habits and live as normal a life as possible. So just enjoy the way you feel without the excess weight and as long as the scale is moving down even slowly be happy. Congratulations on your progress so far and good luck.

Hiya Tricia! I think you're doing great! Its easier said than done to not compare yourself to others. We're all guilty of doing just that. I've lost 89 lbs, and am 27 lbs away from my surgeons goal of 131 lbs. Things have slowed down for me in the last couple of months. I had major knee surgery 11/5/04 and had to take steroids for 10 days and have to wear a 3 lb brace. It still swells and i'm doing physical therapy. I'm not able to exercise other than that. Months ago I had a plateau that lasted 5 grueling weeks. Once it broke, however, I dropped like 10 lbs in a week. The main thing to remember is we're all successes. We've lost more weight than we were ever able to before. It shouldnt matter so much how long it takes us to get there, just as long as we arrive! God bless you! Merry Christmas!

Hello Patricia I am 24 lbs from surgeons goal and 44 lbs from my ideal weight. I have lost 112 but was over 300 lbs. The bigger you are the more faster you are to loose the weight. It's slowed down dramatically and I pray I can keep loosing as successful so I can't get to MY goal

Good luck to you, you are doing great
I have been reading your posts, and you are doing wonderful!!! It would be great to see an updated picture!!! Hey, do you know how the word HOT came to flash by this posts? I never even marked it as urgent either. Anyway, happy holidays, and you and everyone who had surgery in May is doing wonderful. I guess I am pretty close to goal as everyone else is.
