You are putting too much pressure on yourself. I am 6 months out and have lost 80 lbs. and my Dr. says I am right where I should be. You are doing fine! Think about how much you have already lost. That is truely and accomplishment.

I know in this surgery that the heavier you are the more rapidly you loose the weight. From what I've read you're right on target. If you need to take a week and go back to the "soft food" diet - up your proteins - and your exercise....you're see the scale tilt again. I'M PROUD OF YOU for the weight you've lost! It's a major accomplishment!!!! Don't get discouraged yet - we're still in the "newbies" catagory of being post op!!!!

Meggan, I was told by my surgeon that I was going to be a slow losser. I just grinned at him and said sure. Well he is right. I am 4' 9" tall (or short). Started the searching at 250#. I have hit kind of a plateau of sorts. not loosing as fast as I did. I have this weekend decided to jump up my exercise. I am going to go walking out side the 50 min. then after that go to the gym every other day during the week to do the toning exercise which is the 8 nautilus machines. I hope to see in the next month if that works or not. Diane Lap RNY -77# 250/173/ docs goal 140/ my dream goal 115
