Cough Medicine?

Hey there May folks! Just wondering if anyone else has fallen prey to the flu season yet, as I have? I'm having trouble with cough medicines, and wondered if anyone has any suggestions, or knows something I don't know? Regular Robitussin makes me sick, and I've tried a diabetic tussin, but it is also making me sick. I got a prescription today for a tussin with codeine and am hoping it won't make me too sick. Anybody have any thoughts? Thanks in advance, Marcia

I use Tylenol Cold and Flu .. COOL BLAST . It is in a blue bottle and is blue! I would not take it if you have to go to work ... It does make you sleepy - but it truly works . I would not go thru another cold with out it . Good Luck to you hope you feel better soon Nat

if tussin with codeine doesn't help you may want to call your doc back and tell him/her. you may need some predinsone for a short period of time. thats what i had to do. the doc gave me a shot and then put me on predinsone for 10 days. its now day 4 into the prednisone and i'm starting to feel half way human again. its the cold weather here in ohio thats beating me up, especially when i walk ,my doggie in the morning. hope you feel better soon. jennifer in freezin ohio
