I know this probably sounds stupid, but I need a new bra and I can't figure out what size I am! I have measured myself the way they tell you to and come up with a size, but I have such saggy boobs that I HAVE to have a bra that gives lots of support. So....I went back to good old Lane Bryant and am spending almost $45.00 on a bra only to find out that it is on back order for 3 - 4 weeks!!! Has anyone else had this problem? I even went to Fashion Bug plus but they don't carry my size. I need a 40F and they are hard to find. I guess I will just have to order one online from somewhere else and hope it comes in. I have ONE bra only and it is so big that it is getting uncomfortable. I kind of live in the sticks so I can't go to the mall or to any of the upscale stores in larger cities that could probably help me. I guess I'm really just venting. I'm not complaining though-believe me! I am down 106.5 pounds and absolutely loving it except for the problem with finding a bra!! I hope everyone has a lovely day!!

Laura- Boy I wish I could help. My poor breasts have really gotten smaller. Well, the whole me has, to be sure. I'm down to a 36D but I still need the "fuller figure" bras in order to accommodate all the extra skin (wow, there's a pretty image). The problem is that I could probably go for a 34D except that they don't come in "fuller figure". I've given up on sexy bras and I'm in the heavy duty steel reinforced granny bras that hoist my girls up to some semblance of where they should be. Good luck finding one that does the job. It's such a blessing to have bras be the only clothing item that we have to special order, huh? Hugs, Susan

Thanks Susan!! I wish you could help too! I have always been big on top and kind of figured that this would probably happen. It just makes me so mad that they charge you so much for such a small piece of clothing!! And it's not like you'd want to go buy a bra at Goodwill like I do for pants and tops!! I ordered a Playtex bra from an online store. Hopefully that one will fit and I can feel "normal" again-if there is such a thing in my world! LOL! But yeah, I too have realized that sexy and lacy are NOT going to be synonymous with the bras that I have to wear!! The only good thing about all of this is that with all of this extra tissue it may be just what I need to have my insurance company pay for a breast reduction-I have wanted one of those for years and years. Anyway, thanks again for the good luck wishes-I surely need them!! How are you doing on getting back on track with your eating? I read your post earlier but didn't respond as you had quite a few who did already. I feel for you and truly hope you get back to a good eating plan. I don't do very well either, but I try real hard to stay away from too many carbs. It isn't easy. We all deserve a pat on the back for the hard work we do after this surgery. Too many people think it's just magic and we don't have to do anything to lose the weight. But if finding a decent bra that fits is the worst thing I have to go through, I can deal with it!! God has been so good to me, I don't want to blow this. And neither do you and you won't. I truly believe that.

Laura, One of the ladies in my support group said that she went to Victoria Secrets and they measured her and helped her find a bra that fit the right way, especially the saggin part. She did say that the bra did cost her 45.00 but she said it was well worth it to have those babies not dangling. Also have you tried JC Pennys or Sears? Best of luck with the bra hunting and congrats on the weight loss. Teri 243/133/?

Hi Laura, Welcome to the club!!!! I spent WEEKS looking for a new bra because I couldn't find one that fit correctly. Ended up and an Old Fashioned Bra store. One where they really know how to measure. They actualy go into the room with you. Measure you, take a good look walk out, and came back with a perfect fitting (3 actually) bra. It was amazing. Trust me I had gone to Victoria's Secret, got measured, was handed a box full of "my size".....after about 15 tries..left, none had fit properly....Turns out Wrong Size. Once fitted properly, I know can go to most any store and know the perfect Style & size. For me, I was getting a bra too big around & too small a cup.... Good Luck Pam RNY 5/13/04 268/262/174 GOAL 168

If you don't have a place that will measure you in the area, try Land's End.com THey have good directions and customer service. I use a local place, but having lost over 100 lbs, I have so much extra skin that I haven't gone down that much in size even though my busts are much smaller. Good luck.

I went from a 48DD to a 42C and I am about to go to a 38B I think in about a month at this rate. I don't mind the numeric value changing but I don't want to keep getting smaller I have always been okay in that arena I wasn't really expecting this but I still buy mind at lane bryant or Bali from the mall NAT

Hi Laura...I experienced the same problem you now have. I ended up going to the mall to Dillards. I had them measure me after which the sales person brought back about 30 bras for me to try. Out of all of them I ended up with two Lillyette Bras; size 40C down from a 52C. I don't know if you have a Ross or Marshall store near you, but after finding my actual size, I went there and actually found some of the $28.00 Bras for $6.99. Needless to say, I bought two more. So now am fixed for awhile. Good luck on your search. As of today, I am down 127 lbs. and loving it.
