How is everyone?
Hello fellow May loosers. How has everyone been? It has been a while since I have posted due to going back to work Yes, I hate working, but really want the extra money for christmas. My weight loss is still coming along. I am now in the 150's the high end though. Can't rember exactly as I stay off the scale pretty much, but it is the 150's no less. My ultimate goal is to be in the 130's. I can't wait for that.:bounce: You know I read alot of folks that say to enjoy the process of loosing the weight, but my friends and I were talking and we would much rather enjoy the, "being at our goal weight instead, and being able to finally go shopping!!!!!!!"
LOL that is just the way we look at it. I am not yet at 7 months post opp and so far everthing has been smooth sailing.
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
And for a final thought "What did you eat today?"
B-protein shake
L- skipped
D- will be steak and gravy
tata for now

Hey there Brenda! Missed ya!! Things are going okay right now. I am bummed a little. I know eveyone ones body is different but I am stuck again. I am not losing at all. In fact, I gained 5 pounds and I am having a hard time losing it again. I hate to say it but I am in the high 170's. I hate that!! 6 months and I still haven't broken the 100 pound mark. It sucks!!! Starting Tuesday, I am starting my cheerleading coach job. I hope that helps get things moving again. We have to work out and stretch for 15 minutes before we start cheering. I hope it helps!!! Kind of scared though. I haven't done anything like this before. I still have about 70 to 80 pounds I still need to lose. I don't think I am going to make it. Now, since I have stopped losing and gained some I am so fraid that I am going to gain it all back. I don't know if I should get rid of my big clothes. Anyway, I am so proud of you! I know you will get in those 130 numbers real soon.
Toni
Toni, glad to hear from you! You are doing great! we all get stuck..that is why i try to stay away from the scales. They just depress me at times. I haven't broken the 100 lb mark either if you count my weight a week before surgery. I am at a 89 lb loss....but still when was the last time you were at the weight you are now. Think about that one. Could it have been SEVERAL years ago? That is what I think about. I havne't been this weight in atleast 10 yrs. My husband has never known me this size before. It is an adjustmant for him as much as me. Could it be your weight gain is becasue of your time of month? that get's me up a couple of lbs. You might think about getting on the protein train and jump starting your weightloss again. I no it would be hard, but I have seen others who have been on a nasty plateu, or weightgain, and they got back on there protein shakes only for 3-5 days and the weight starting dropping off again.
You'll get there Toni. You have came such a long way already. And you no what..yes, I would love to be in the 130's, but if i could just excersize and tone up and loose a few more lbs...I think i would be just as happy. We really messed our bodies up with our weight gain, and getting these old bodies just in shape and toned is a godsend. I am sure you'll tone up doing cheerleading. Thats great.
Take care,
Brenda
