Okay just got the call from my Surgeons office said my labs are okay just low on Zinc and that can also contribute to the hair loss so they told me to take the Coldeeze once a day (I can do that just a candy not bad) I had to take them b4 surgery it was low and now it's low agian. Zinc is needed for healing and hairloss and something else she said I forgot. But perhaps this will help with my hair loss since it's so much gone. Oh plz grow back just wanted to share with ya Nat 304 then 197 now 6 months

Hey Nat sweetie! I am on that lossing hair streak too  I have always had thin hair and hairloss is in my genes. I have been taking zinc to no availe. My labs are all fine and nothing is low. I have also started on biotin and even tried using rogaine for women. I have lost so much hair my scalp just shines through no matter what hair do I choose. They say it will grow back but being I was losing hair before surgery I am not so sure on how much will grow back. I hope you have the best of luck wih your growing back. Melissa 298 down 87lbs to 212lbs 6 months I hope to be below 200lbs by the end of the new year!!

Hey Melissa, thanks for the email. Well I wish the best to you as well. I also do Biotin 1500mcg and I do the zinc now, so I don't know what else to do. I wear my hair in braids now cuz my hair looks such a mess. I am use to it being thick and shiney but not thin and dull and breaking so I am tired of looking at it. I wish you well also NAT

Hey Nat, I just took some braids out of my hair this past weekend and I am not sure if I lost a lot of hair because of the braids or if it was because of the WLS. Anyway, my hair is so thin on the top. Thank God it is cold because that gives me a reason to wear a tobogan

Hey Toddra, I wear a wrap on my head alot also and I don't keep my micros very long cuz I don't want the breakage. So usually a month for me. I don't want them to get twisted up and cause anymore damage that is already there. I have my stylist give me a scalp message it's nice and long and then a good deep conditioner then a leave in. I am still doing my biotin so I hope in another 6 months my hair will start to repair itself. I will be faithful to my braids though for the whole winter. Let's Pray LOL NAT
