Calories
Hi Guys, how many calories do you get in a day I take between
700 and 900 cals per day.typcial day 4:30am protein shake, 9am oatmeal
1pm maybe some soup or chicken,with some veggies. in the afternoon
i have an apple with one stick string cheese sometimes i have a banana
as well and then in the evening i have another protein shake. Once a week i treat myself to a small tube of peanuts i do eat quite
a bit of fruit,cant, do bread at all what a shame i loved bread,
same thing with salad, i drink as much water as i can and also have no
sugar added hot chocolate yummy, and i do try different stuff to
see what agrees and what does not. but never go above about 900cals

Well, I try to get in around 500 day. This many days is really pushing it. I just get so VERY full eating still VERY small amounts. Like a bite of chicken, bite of veggies...I can eat a half container of those very small yogarts. Now the time I go over 500 caleries is when I get in 2 protein shakes a day. Each shake has 195 caleries. Unfortunalty I am almost out of shake so I am not even geting in 1 a day now. I no my body must be in starvation mode still, but it is just not easy getting food in. I have a very small stoma which drains VERY slow. This is why I stay full easily and stay full longer. Don't no if this is good or a curse.

Well , Like Brenda ... I only get in around 500 to 600 a day .
I do a protein drink in the morning , Lunch usually consist of a salad with chicken .. another protein drink .. ( only 90 cals )
and dinner .. all protien first - then the veggies ..
Here lately , I have been really busy at work and sometimes just do not eat . I know bad ... but I can not help it .. I do keep a bottle of the squeeze cheese in my desk with some wheat ff crackers... 2 a day ..
and I am satisfied ..
I just can not imagine eating more .. I mean .. I think I would hurl .. I get full really fast .. I tend to lean more towards soups and other things that go down easy .. Well I am off to order more protein .. going to try some of Susan Marias new protein cookies .. 26 grams of Protein .. and order some of the new protein powders .. I swear by them .. so low cal and no carbs .. gotta love it .

You know I am not even counting lately. I just started a new job working at a food servcie place (can't get a technical job anymore so I took something to at least bring in a little money). Anyway I have been getting a lot of hours and trying to eat some bean burritos to get some fiber and get the old system moving again.
I do a protein shake every couple of days. My pouch is still very prissy about them and I generally feel like crap after I drink one... not like dumping, just feels very heavy.
I just did my fitday.com log from yesterday and I got in 1168 calories, 80g protein, 60g fat, and 54g carbs.
Guess I am getting in more than I thought.
So far, I usually have between 550-850 calories a day. Sometimes I go more, but the most I have been able to consume in a day is 1100 calories, but I don't do that often. I try to do 2 protein shakes a day with 1% milk (8oz) and that gives me about 58 grams of protein, then I usually eat lunch and 1-2 snacks. I exercise 3-5 times a week at the fitness center and enjoy my schedule so far. I don't do well with salads, but I have tried them a couple of times. I have to tell you that this weekend I made chocolate chip cookies using the splenda for baking and they were good!!! Even my husband ate a whole bunch.
