I went to see my surgeon for my 6 month check-up and I found out that they are using a higher weight than what I have been using. They went with my highest weight ever to figure how much I have lost. I have been using the weight I was at right before surgery. There is a five pound difference in the weights. Soooo.....if I go with the weight they are using I am at 99 pounds down, but if I go with the weight I've been using then I am 94 pounds down. What do you guys think? I'd like to hear your advice. Thanks!!

I have the same situation. I lost 8 pounds from my initial consult to right before my surgery. My office uses the weight right before surgery to calculate the weight loss. I go with the smaller one, if someone asked if I lost any weight before surgery I tell them. Most of the time I don't get really specific about my loss anyway - if I am down 127 I would say "about 120-125". At least for me there is so much fluctuation I never really feel comfortable giving an exact number.

Thanks everyone for your insight and advice. I was thinking that I would like to count that weight too, but wasn't really sure if I "should". I DID lose it so I guess that I SHOULD count it! Thanks again!!
