Emotional issues?

I have heard that estrogen is stored in fat cells and that when we lose a lot (women, sorry John) that we experience hormonal imbalances (I'm sure that happens for you too John). I have found myself being very empotional and having panic attacks lately. I fear I might have to go back on an intidepressant (I did while pregnant with my second daughter). Has anyone else been a little cranky or restless lately? Is it just me?

That sure makes a lot of sense!! I never even thought of it like that. I guess that would explain my emotional bouts sometimes. So no it is not just you!!! Julie 265/174.5/130

Makes sense to me. I've also noticed that my skin is breaking out more. I think that's estrogen related too. What fun! Hang in there! Ms. Healthy -115

I WAS ON PAXIL BEFORE SURGERY...BECAUSE OF DEPRESSION/CRANKY/RESTLESS ECT. AND STILL AM ON IT. I HAVE GONE OFF FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS...I WAS NOT A PLEASANT PERSON TO BE AROUND. I NEED IT. I DON'T WANT TO ACT LIKE THAT...SO I STAY ON IT. SOME PEOPLE JUST HAVE TO HAVE IT. OTHERS ARE DIFFERENT. NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING DIFFERENT!! NOTHING WRONG WITH NEEDING SOMETHING. JUST DO WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU!! JEANNIE
