If we drink water while we eat or shortly after the water hits our pouch and turns our food into soup, and drains out of our pouches MUCH faster, thus not giving us a full feeling for very long...In return we eat sooner...Understand??? it is like drinking liquid...On the Dr. Phil show it showed a gal eating larger amounts of food, and a large drink. She couldn't understand how she was able to do this and was gaining weight back...it was her drinking with her meals. So plese please watch this. Now with myself. I will take a tiny bit of water after a meal...this only amounts to getting my tounge WET to get that food taste out of my mouth. Like the saltiness, or spiciness. There is really no water I swallow, it is just to get the food taste out of mouth. Brenda

also, when it is washing away the food, it isn't sitting in your digestive tract long enough to absorb the proper nutrients and we once again are on "starvation" mode and stop losing the weight as our bodies are storing all it can instead of burning it.

Personally , I could not drink when eating , I once made the mistake and picked up my protein drink right after I ate .. and It made me really sick . Drinking with your meals also stretches your pouch . So do not do this . I always wait an hour . But if I have eaten somthing like fish , I rinse my mouth out but get rid of the water . Is a big no no .. Thanks, nat
