I am just so excited I had to share with my May sisters and brothers! I am down 88 pounds and yesterday was my official 5 month anniversary! I have run out of pants that fit well and am now called "baggy butt" at work! I am also called "the incredible shrinking woman"! Sometimes the comments get a little old, but I'm enjoying them anyway. Too soon they will stop and I will just be one of the girls again. This surgery is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. I never thought I would EVER see this weight again and I'm just getting started!! Thanks for listening and best wishes to all of you too!! P.S. Tonight when I get home I am going to download a new picture to my profile! I was going to do it last night but got too tired. I will let you all know when it is up!! 324/236/160????

Dear Laura, Way to go!!! My 5 months was yesterday too, I am down 81 pounds. I have plateaued here for a couple of weeks. I am not concerned however, if I didn't lose another pound I would still be the happiest person I could be. I never dreamed a year ago that I would be wearing the same size I did in 11th grade! Looking forward to seeing your updated pictures. Keep up the good work! -Krystal 270/189/155

Dear Debbie-Yes it IS great!! I LOVE crossing my legs. I sit in booths at restaurants because I finally CAN!! I can bend over and tie my shoes without huffing and puffing. I can finally see past my boobs to see my feet!! Yes, it is wonderful and I am happy. Thank you for being happy for me too!!

Hi there - I am almost "with you" Congrats on your great loss. Any loss at this point is positive. I am down from 332 to 240 and the results have been dramatic also. I have not been able to cross my legs yet like you have - my thighs are still a little big. Best wishes to "everyone" on the May message board!!!!!

Dear Lisa, Thanks for the well wishes, they are most appreciated! I agree with you, any loss at this point is wonderful! You'll be crossing your legs anytime now. I think it is just funny sometimes the little things that can make us happy!! I also wanted to tell you that I have seen your posts in the past and I think you are a very pretty woman!! I can't wait for you to update your photo! I sent mine in last night but it can take up to two weeks for them to get posted, so I will have to wait awhile. But anyway, thanks again for the congrats-same to you!! You are doing awesome!!

My 5 months was May 17 and I'm down 91 lbs. Its a good thing that I'm retired because I go through clothes so quickly, I'm living in second hand shops. I love being a normal size 10 (I was a lightweight at 248) and being able to move my body and fit in regular seats.

Dear Sara, I know what you mean! I plan on going to Goodwill this weekend to see if I can find a couple of pairs of pants for work. I work in a bank so they have to be semi-dressy. I found a couple of pair in the closet that fit a little better, but are still baggy. You might think you were a lightweight, but you still lost the weight and that makes you an awesome loser!! Keep up the good work and thanks for writing.
