5 month Ann. today!

Oh my goodness, I almost forgot my 5 month birthday today. It doesn't seem like it has been 5 months since I had my surgery. I keep thinking I am going to wake up and be 248 again..Like I am in a long dream of some sorts. I don't no what I weigh. I have platued for a couple weeks now actually go up on the scale and then back down 175-178 back and forth I did this, so I finally decided not to even get on the scale for a couple weeks. This way I don't get discouraged. I do no for sure I am in a comfortable size 14's and could probably get into a tight 12. This is great to me as I started out at a size 24. Life is much better now except for the fact that my hair has been falling out by the handfuls for 2 months now...oh well, small price to pay. Take care everyone Brenda 248/175/???

Those plateaus are very frustrating! I was driving myself crazy also by weighing every moring. I have just gotten to a size 24 from a 30-32W. I feel so much more comfortable now can't imagine what I will feel like when I get as far as you. My hair coming out also and is a price I am willing to pay also..don't like it but will pay it. My 5 month anniversary was May 17. I almost forgot it also, but ended up doing the 5 mile breast cancer walk with no effort. A year ago at 248 and size 22-24 I couldn't have gone near it. Now I'm 157, size 12 and workout almost every day. Recovery is great despite the hard parts.

Congrats!! Doesn't the 5 months go fast?????? My body doesn't want to see to let go so I can '180 something'..on the lbs but that will come. Enjoy your success!! Debbie R.
