Vertigo??

Last week I started getting vertigo attacks. At first it was only when I stood up or lay down. Now it happens even if I'm reading. I have no symptoms of inner ear infection, no headaches. At first I thought it might of had something to do with my period, but thats way over and I'm still getting these attacks. Has anyone else had this? Rhonda RN

Yep agree with everyone else... water, vitamins and carbs. If you haven't had any bloodwork - you should ask your doctor why not? For myself, I will get dizzy when I stand up quick especially if I am missing any water that day.

How cool AND strange is it that so many of us go through things at or around the same time? That's why I love coming to this board--you can always find others in the same boat as you! Just today as I was on a ladder hanging spiderwebs on the porch for Halloween, I nearly lost my balance twice from attacks of dizziness. Probably the vitamin thing that others mentioned--just got back from an autumn mini-vacation and I forgot to pack my supplements (I know, I know...bad girl) . Thanks for the info, and for once again making me feel like what I'm going through is OK because so many of us are going through the same things! ~Jennifer 245/170/125

hello, i didn't ever have vertigo, but i was thinking about what my doctor said to me about it. he said if i ever had it that i should have my thyroid check, that my dosage for synthroid may have to be reduced. she check it out. have a good one.
