TT delayed, need a 3rd abdominal surgery

Well, I had to see my GB surgeon today for the stomach pains I've been having...I have to have a 3rd abdominal surgery now...sometime in the next 2 weeks. So, I've thought hard about it and decided to cancel my tentative tummy tuck and wait until I am either at goal or beyond. I'm not really up for having another abdominal surgery if it's one that can wait till later. I'll take care of any that I have to have due to medical necessity at the time, but the tummy tuck can wait. Anway, the abdominal pains I've been having are apparently from something called a neuroma...at least that's what the doc thinks it is. I have to go on Tuesday for an upper GI to see if there are any adhesions, then on Friday to the surgeon so he can tell me his surgery plan...based on those test results. He said I definately need the surgery to take care of the neuroma, but he wants to be prepared in case he will need to take care of adhesions at the same time, as I had a lot when they did the hernia repair back in July. neuroma what is that? I looked it up but was pulling stuff up about brain tumors and feet.????? I'm so sorry you have to go through this. It is unbeleivable that this will be 3 surgeries so close together. You will be in my prayers. Take care! Lisa
